Awful.
First of all, my partner and I arrived and waited to be seated. We were completely ignored and the waiter asked the Spanish couple behind us if they wanted a seat? It’s only when the couple said we were first he seated us.. nearly walked out then.
The waiters were very cold and slammed glasses and stuff about, not friendly at all.
The starter was ‘provolone cheese’ which was just melted cheddar in a dish with some toast. €12.
For mains I ordered a sea food risotto which was what I can only describe as a cold, fishy rice pudding with almost no flavour. The sea food was also clearly frozen. No excuse when situated on a marina full of fishing boats.
When the waiter came over to ask if everything was ok I told him no sorry it doesn’t taste of anything, he huffed and snatched my plate away. I then saw him and other waiter pulling faces whilst discussing my plate in his hand. The original waiter came over and asked if I’d like another portion, I said no thanks. No money off the bill or offer of an alternative meal choice. We just paid and left, very poor service and food. Please just look a restaurants a few streets back from the marina, much better food for an amazing price. I recommend the Malbec wine club, best meal we had all week. Fresh home made meal for a good price and fab friendly service.
In reply to the owners reply below - thanks for correcting me on the price of your cheese on toast, €13.80 is even more of a joke to pay!! TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY your food is rubbish and your servers are miserable. Proof of transaction from my bank now attached, to prove I ate at your...

From the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely top class. The staff were incredibly quick and friendly, making us feel very welcome and well looked after throughout our entire meal.
We opted for a classic combination: a Hawaii pizza and an America pizza. Both were delicious, with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked bases. The flavours were spot on, and we thoroughly enjoyed both choices.
To finish off our meal, we indulged in a lemon meringue tart for dessert. It was the perfect sweet treat to round off a lovely meal – light, zesty, and utterly delicious.
A minor point to note for those who have a preference: they exclusively serve Pepsi products rather than Coca-Cola. However, this didn't detract from our experience in the slightest. We enjoyed a refreshing Magners and a lovely sangria with our meal.
Overall, our experience at Restaurante Pinocho was exceptional. We were so impressed with the food, the service, and the atmosphere. We would absolutely tell everyone about this place – it's a must-visit for anyone looking for a great meal.
I'm genuinely that impressed! Head down to Restaurante Pinocho, you won't be...
Read morewe were recommended to come here by family and really looked forward to it. Sadly we didnt have the same great experience. Starter was delicious and my partners lasagne was beautiful. My pizza was burnt on the base but I was not going to comment as atmosphere was nice and staff seemed friendly at first. However, when asking for the bill. I had to ask 3 times. I watched 4 other people ask and receive their bill instantly, the staff kept looking at us and nodding as if to say they knew we were waiting. 20 minutes later we got the bill. If there was an issue with the printing of the bill etc they should have just made us aware instead of blatantly avoiding us and helping everyone else. We had somewhere to be quickly but there was no rush, after 20 minutes i thought we were being pranked - as all staff just kept looking at us but not doing anything! Then helping, seating and giving bills to other customers. even more laughable when I noticed the 10% tip auto added to the bill - not really happy with the service but just paid in order to leave . Maybe this was the aim?
Stars given are purely for atmosphere and starter & lasagna.
I’d hope this would be rectified if we came...
