Edit in response to owner’s reply: I have to say I’m very surprised at your response! You seem to care more about “looking good” as opposed to actually being a good quality restaurant. As you also don’t seem to be aware there is in fact pizza on your menu, please the attached image of your actual menu, with pizza on it. 😂 I do hope in the future that you take the safety of your dishes more seriously. Any serious restaurant would never, ever let raw chicken be served. And just to clarify, I did no say we were charged twice for the Caesar salad. I was simply surprised we were charged for it at all given the health and safety risk.
Best of luck!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I’m not sure I’ve been to a worse restaurant than Aruba. We were looking for a nice, easy evening meal and stumbled across Aruba, which looked lovely on the outside.
We started off well with a nice tasting sangria, but then it was all down hill from there.
Our chicken Caesar salad arrived incredibly quickly. I was surprised. Turns out it was quick because they didn’t cook the chicken long enough… completely red raw in the middle! This is not only terrible service but also dangerous. Thankfully I had only eaten a very tiny bit, but this could have made me seriously ill.
The waitress apologised and brought over a new salad, which was cooked. I was expecting this to be taken off the bill but it wasn’t.
Next, we were served nachos with an awfully mass produced sort of plastic-like cheese sauce, and what seemed to be shop bought guacamole. Didn’t taste fresh at all.
Finally, we were served a “pizza” with, again this strange cheese sauce, and aubergine and pine nuts. Probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had. How someone could create this dish, try it and approve it, I don’t know.
Don’t go here. Save your money… and...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant on the 5th august, the restaurant was a short walk away from our hotel, we thought it looked lovely so thought we would give it a try.
We decided to order 1 main and 2 starters to come all together to share at which we explained to the waiter. The dishes all came one after the other, but this was the least of our worries.
The main caesar salad was the first to arrive. My friend cut into her first bite of chicken to notice it was extremely raw, straight away we called the waiter over to let them know. They didn’t say a word just took the plate straight from her. Shortly after a new Caesar salad was brought over with a shy apology. We did expect this to be removed from the bill.
We then received the nachos, which had cinema style liquid cheese in top with guacamole that you could tell wasn’t fresh. After that came a pizza, (the owner doesn’t seem to know their own menu, as per their response to my friends review) so just to remind you… the name of the dish is Pizza "Coca" with escalibada (red pepper, aubergine), ricotta and toasted pine nuts. Hope that helped. This was extremely unappetising, again it had the liquid cheese and just feels like someone quickly thought what can we bang together to make a vegetarian dish, with no thought in to the flavours.
When the bill came the Caesar salad hadn’t been removed from the bill, as we didn’t want a confrontation we didn’t challenge it. We left clearly disappointed. Just a warning to anyone who might be enticed in by the look of the restaurant, please...
Read moreToday my friends and I went to Aruba restaurant. When we arrived the place was half full and we were taken to a table in the back. One of the waitresses took our drink order. We ordered one moscow mule and 3 Aperol spritz. The moscow mule was good but the Aperol was mediocre. And after a long while, a different waitress came and took our food order. We ordered the nachos and 3 portions of shrimp tagliatelle and one portion of duck and truffle tagliatelle. The appetizer came after approximately 20 minutes and it was good. We waited for the mains over an hour and at some point we asked the first waitress about it. We saw the two waitresses talking to each other and it was clear that they forgot about our order. The food came and the duck and tagliatelle pasta was a 7 out of 10 and the shrimp tagliatelle was not prepared correctly. The pasta did not have any flavor, no salt no garlic no nothing. We tried to call someone to our table to fix the problem but everyone was busy so I went to the bar and asked to have it replaced. When the pasta came back it had a puddle of sauce and too much garlic. It was horrible. We had to ask for the check two times to receive it. I do not recommend the restaurant. The waitress were impolite and the experience was a 0 out of 10....
