Just left La Fava and can only say this is by far the best cooking I have come across in Benidorm. All the dishes are imaginative and beautifully presented , I’d even say they are pretty. When you have a chef that cooks with his heart coupled with a lot of talent and intelligence, the results will be exceptional, as they are here. The only problem for us was that we over ate, which is forgivable as the menu is stuffed with so many dishes you want to try. One dish of pork and tuna eaten like a taco was really excellent. Another tuna dish was melt in the mouth gorgeous. Oxtail dish was great, so soft and really deep flavour. There were too many highlights to list here but the cooked cheesecake must get a mentioned. It was just to die for, so creamy, rich but light, sublime. The staff are very welcoming and the chef comes out and explains the menu in English, which was much appreciated as my Spanish is one notch below terrible. Definitely worth a visit if you’re on holiday...
