Hotel Helios — Hotel in Benidorm

We were a group of 6 ladies and we had the most wonderful stay in this hotel. The check in process was excellent. Staff friendly, warm and welcoming.

The only thing which I found a shame was there is no area if you arrive early to freshen up and get ready. However we were given a key for the toilet to change in and a place to leave our bags securely.

Our room was a good size. Always cleaned to a good standard. Comfortable bed. Powerful shower. Also was nice to have a small fridge.

Everywhere was very clean and a special mention to William the life guard who was cheerful and professional. Always assisting with beds and generally checking everything was ok.

The bar staff were also kind and friendly. The food was quite nice. I had the tomato and mozerella salad with pesto which was lovely.

The selection at breakfast was plentiful. Always fresh and items replenished. Several coffee machines to ensure you don’t need to queue.

We used the spa facilities which were also clean and very nice.

At checkout I couldn’t find my towel receipt for my deposit which I accept is my fault but was disappointed they also could not find a copy. I feel this could be improved.

We had a visit daily from Mercedes and Julia always checking everything in the hotel asking guests for feedback, noting things down and taking a keen interest for the guests experience. I haven’t really experienced this before and think it should be highly commended. They take great care and pride with this hotel.

Also the location is excellent!

Booked this hotel for myself, husband and son, never been to Benidorm before and wasn't sure what to expect. We were given a room initially on 3rd floor, seemed fine until we couldn't sleep due to noise from a nearby room late that night...reported to reception and that's where the excellent customer service began, this hotel goes over and above to make your stay as good as possibly can be. Met Mercedes the manager at breakfast and she arranged for us to be moved to a quiet room on top floor with no fuss, always checking was everything ok for us, so attentive. The same excellent help from Julia and Angeles on front desk always asking us if everything was ok, this staff truly cares for customers! We always felt we could go to them if we had any problems, like a leaking shower door which they fixed...and sent us a lovely bottle of cava & treat to make up for the problems! This hotel is trying very hard to only attract couples and families who want a quiet relaxing holiday, the staff had difficulties with a large noisy group during our stay which provided some entertainment for the rest of us but security had a tough job those days...I would definitely say this hotel is not suitable for large groups who want to party with late nights and loud music,so pick another hotel as you won't enjoy being told to keep the peace all the time!! The breakfast was perfect and lovely cava was a treat! Bravo Helios staff and thank u for making our first trip to Benidorm one to remember in...

From the moment we arrived at Helios Hotel in Benidorm, we knew we’d chosen the perfect place for our anniversary return trip. The hotel itself is spotless – everything is so clean and beautifully maintained – and the whole atmosphere is professional, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. An oasis of calm and relaxation - when you want to escape the party vibes of Benidorm on the doorstep!||What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the amazing staff. Isabel went above and beyond to help my partner arrange a gorgeous surprise of flowers and a complementary bottle of fizz in our room, which made our anniversary feel so special. Angela was fantastic too, helping us with a courtesy room when we needed it, making everything so easy and stress-free.||The wonderful Angels truly made magic happen by arranging a celebration meal for us at a local restaurant with the most breathtaking views – it was such a memorable evening, and one we’ll treasure forever. And every day, Jessica greeted us with coffee and the warmest smile. Her kindness and friendliness brightened our days and set the tone for the perfect holiday.||Every single one of these staff members is an absolute credit to Helios Hotel – they deserve all the recognition (and a raise!).
