Baster — Restaurant in Bilbao

Great place to grab something to drink and some pinxtos.

Shoutout to the person that picked the playlist. Had a nice flashback to my teenage years with those linkin park songs playing!

That said if you walked through the city in dire need for some food for hours and couldnt find a single restaurant that serves more then pinxos this is still not hitting the spot 😅

Their raciones can fill your stomach for sure if you are in the mood for that food but it obviously is not a classic wit down and dine in restaurant experience...

The customer service was truly exceptional - it was an absolute delight! To our pleasant surprise, the staff spoke English and took the time to walk us through the various options available. As vegetarians, we were pleased to find a decent variety of dishes on offer, and the overall atmosphere of the establishment added to our enjoyment. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in their work, and we encourage them to keep up the excellent job...

Baster is a popular spot in the Casco Viejo part of Bilbao. Locals pour in for pintxos and vermouth. On the weekends it can be difficult to find a table inside or out although if you’re lucky you’ll find a spot to stand at the bar. Clearly the crowds demonstrate just how popular a place it is.
