El PC (CERRADO) — Restaurant in Bilbao

You wouldn’t expect this quality of cuisine by the looks of this restaurant. The interior of the restaurant looks industrial, with a burger-bar feel to it. The menu is however great with delicate flavors. We thought we had to choose from 3 starters, but it turned out that you get all 3 and share them with your table mate(s). After several nights of Pinxtos and Tapas we were looking for some more healthy dishes including vegetables, we succeeded!

It isn't often I leave a restaurant and feel as if I've just had something truly special. Last night my wife and I were fortunate enough to get a table without a reservation. We sat outside with a nice view of the river.

The food was so good I was in a state of elation for several hours. My taste buds were delighted with the perfect interplay and balance of flavours.

The restaurant itself is unassuming. Fantastic food in a chilled atmosphere to me spells heaven.

NEFASTO, una gran decepción. Han conservado el gran nombre que tenía el restaurante pero se han olvidado de la calidad, en todos los sentidos. Parece que se pone de moda los dos turnos de cena. Hasta ahí, correcto, porque lo sabíamos y lo aceptamos, (éramos 4) y también que llegamos tarde y tendríamos que darnos más prisa. 10:30 de la noche y llegamos a los postres; nos cambian de camarera, una tal Julia y nos dice que las torrijas que habíamos pedido no pueden ser porque no nos dará tiempo, (como ahora veréis, no nos conocía) Insistimos en que falta media hora, y nos responde que 15'; de buenas a primeras teníamos que abandonar la mesa 15' antes de lo que nos dijeron por teléfono. Su actitud en todo momento era la de.. "fuera que viene el siguiente turno". Se convence y nos las trae, todo ya de muy mal talante. 10:40 nos las hemos comido y queremos repetir... FUE IMPOSIBLE!! He visto otras dos reseñas haciendo mención a estas actitudes. El trato MALO, muy MALO y la actitud PEOR..., y excepto las torrijas, todo muy corriente, y minimalista. Se me olvidaba, apareció por la mesa un chico, que supuestamente sería el encargado, y no he visto menos profesionalidad en mi vida. Se limitó a decir frases hechas, sin escuchar nuestra versión, ni atenerse a una conversación.., eso sí, todo con un aire muy alternativo. Para olvidar, e insisto.., que FALTA de...
