Kurrusku Kai Alde Plaza Unamuno — Restaurant in Bilbao

Avoid this place !!! It's a trap for tourists. It looks nice but it's horrible. We have ordered 2 smoothies hat contained almost only water and tasted absolutely nothing. For 3.9 euro / smoothie it's a scam. Also, prices are not shown on the menu. Finally, the employee was not nice at all and very slow even before we told her what we thought about the horrible smoothies she had made. We did not finish our drinks and complained to tell the employee it was unacceptable, and agreed to pay 1 out of the 2. But even 3.9euro for this scam was difficult...

Nice place for a little breakfast / brunch in the old center of Bilbao. The food on the menu looks quiet fancy, and it comes exactly as you see it on the pictures in the menu. I personally preferred a simple sandwich with avocado, tomato, jamon and cheese. But good news - you can also order that. Service is a bit all over the place when the place is busy, but things work out. PS: the orange juice...

We came in for coffee and sweets takeaway. The service and quality, so good we came back for breakfast the next two days.

The barista who served us was very genuine and really tried to make us feel comfortable and worked with us speaking as much English as he could.

The royal toast is unreal and a great way to kick start a big day in Bilbao.
