This was our first time visiting this coffee shop and the experience wasn’t very pleasant. We arrived at 1:05pm, the waiter told us to seat on a table where there were already 2 people seated (table of 6). That would have been totally fine with us if it wasn’t because of that there were more tables (of 4 pax) available, not just one, but a few. First we sat where he told us to, but then he let other 2 people change their seats (from a sharing table to a table of 4pax). Seeing this, we decided to change as well. He comes to us and tells us that we can’t change seats, that this is the way they work and that he let the other two people change because they were working on their computers… to what I told him that as a client, that doesn’t make any sense to me. If he let other people change, he should let anyone change no matter if they have a computer, bags or nothing and just wish to have some quiet food while enjoying their experience (obviously having as much empty tables as they had at that moment as we could witness ourselves). When I finally could order, I asked him how long he thinks it would take as we had to leave in the next few minutes. His answer was pretty rude: “whatever it takes to be prepared”. In summary, very poor customer service. Coming to the food, not bad, however, cold. Coffee wasn’t as nice as we expected and as other specialty coffee shops in the area. The out come? The place is not what we expected, so we will not be...
Read moreHi,
I have been here at least three times, and I am in love with this place because it has a relaxing environment with lovely people who treat you with kindness and respect.
Regarding orders, the waiters and waitresses give great recommendations on the best dishes for each group of people. Taula follows American concepts like brunch and drunch, offering both sweet and savory dishes. Hey! Don’t forget the smoothies, fruit juices, teas, barista coffee, and much more.
The food is prepared on-site, making it the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, family or business events.
The prices are affordable, and the waiting time depends on how many people are there—obviously! But once we get our food, it’s pure happiness, hahaha.
In the end, Taula is a comfortable place with truly lovely people, pet-friendly policies, and a...
Read moreA special, boujee birthday brunch! We spotted this place on TikTok, and it came highly recommended on Google. Knowing it would be a popular spot, we figured—what better way to start my birthday? We did have to queue, but only for about 15 minutes.
The place is beautiful inside, and we were served by Mike, an American who’s lived in Bilbao for five years. Huge shoutout to him—so friendly and full of great tips on what to see and do. We casually mentioned it was my birthday, and when he brought out my French toast, it had a candle in it! He and his Spanish colleague even sang “Happy Birthday”—a really nice touch. Oh, and the food? Delicious. My French toast had fruit and frosting, while my wife’s was topped with peanut butter, honey,...
