Tapería Santa Clara — Restaurant in Burgos

It’s Sunday and the city is fully packed everywhere, I feel it’s hard for me to get food( a solo traveler who doesn’t speak Spanish), so I decided to walk a little bit out of town to find somewhere less touristy and this is the place, local neighborhood customers only, and I finally had my wine and tapas in peace. And the tapas tasted super good (and cheap!), and the owner was so nice&friendly!! I definitely recommend...

Buen local para tapear, la cocina sencilla pero buena, las croquetas caseras espectaculares y los tigres buenísimos. Tiene buena variedad de gildas, muy ricas también. y el servicio sensacional, atento y super amable. Lo único malo es algún cliente mal educado y sinverguenza que se propasa con algún comentario que te hace sentir incomodo , como que le iba a dar un infarto, pero que no consiguió echarnos, el dueño ni se entero pero algún parroquiano sí, y le tuvo que decir que se estaba pasando, no creo que gente como él le aporte mucho al local, porque por lo menos en ese momento ni siquiera estaba consumiendo, pero en fin gente grosera hay en todas partes, no tiene...

Just 5 minutes outside of the city center I came up with this gem. Real traditional spanish tapas and dishes for really cheap. The meatbals and the tortilla are to die for....
