I have been living in Spain for about 3 years and I am starting to identify and appreciate high quality Spanish food and wine. My meal at this restaurant was, without question, one of the best I've had in Spain so far. Each of my dishes (enslada de perdiz, jabalí a las guindas and biscuit de higo) were creative, beautifully presented and delicious. The quality of the food was very well matched by good quality wine by the glass and excellent customer service. I gave the restaurant 4 out of 5 stars for atmosphere only because I went when it opened at 8:30pm, and for about 30mins I was the only customer there! It was full and very lively after about 9:30pm. Chef didn’t even bother cutting bad parts from tomatoes in tuna salad. And didn’t bother to mix the salad up, lol. It was just ingredients thrown on the plate, and olive oil was served separately.
Cheese platter was poor with just 3 types of cheese to chose from.
Grilled squid was simply undercooked.
