Poor service. I had red wine spilled on my white trainers and it was completely ignored, they either don’t speak English at all or decided to pretend they don’t when I acknowledged what happened. I asked where the toilets were (in English) and the waitress didn’t even turn around to respond. The €18 euros sandwich looked like it could be served at a gas satiation bar, just a piece of pale bread with a handful of crisps on the side. We asked for the bill and after approximately 10 minutes we had to get up and go to the bar to pay as it did not come. It has all the ambience of a bus station.
We stopped in because it was pouring. It was hard to actually find the door as they had locked most of them due to the wind but not put any signage up.
We watched person after person really struggle to get in, more upsetting was two ladies, one of whom was in a wheelchair. I had to fetch a member of staff to let them in as they were being ignored whilst getting drenched.
We had two gins and tonics and the bill was 26 euros. Outrageously expensive. If their prices are so far out of the norm for the area they should have menus with price lists. We felt cheated.
