A very deserving 5-Star ⭐️ review from me. Whilst out dining at another near-by restaurant the previous night where we ended up waiting over an hour for even our order to be taken (!), another English couple sitting close to us recommended Restaurante Musalima as they’d experienced it earlier that week. The very next evening we dined here and were not disappointed - so thank you to that couple!!! 👏🏼

My wife chose a chicken 🍗 dish which was exceptionally well cooked (I also tried it as the portion was too big for her, very tasty 😋) and I had the Ribeye Steak 🥩 which was nicely marbled and well seasoned. It came with what I would describe as curvy sliced potato-fries, these could of had a better sprinkling of salt on for my taste but still very nice. A chimichurri sauce on the side finished it off nicely 👌🏼

We accompanied our dinner with some nice cocktails 🍹 🍸 which were lovely. Service was generally good, despite some language barriers. They gave us English menus which really helped but when it came to order the waitresses couldn’t understand it so then had to find a Spanish menu and between us we worked through it! I fully accept we’re the ones in Spain 🇪🇸 and this region is not set up for English well, but maybe they could adapt the English menus to have a brief Spanish explanation for the waiter?

There is on-street parking outside, if you can...

FYI coming to Cadiz for more than 10 times. I was here (restaurant) with my 11 year old daughter 2 days ago and had a good experience, food good and the service just below average, let’s say Spanish standards. Today again there because my daughter wanted to and today was a complete mess. Entered and did not want to sit in the sun, we got a table in the back (kitchen view). The Coca Cola for my daughter after asking twice arrived after 8 minutes (restaurant at 20.30 empty btw). I asked for the wine card and did not arrive as well. Full of little flies at the table and asked if we could sit on the terrace outside to be more comfortable. Food this time much less. And the service was not there at all - TERRIBLE! I had to serve my own bottle of wine despite quit in the restaurant and staff walking by. When finished the plates were not picked up (see pictures and time on top as proof) and stayed there for more than ONE hour. Nobody asked is we want coffee or dessert, or even the minimum, did you like the food? It feels like some parts, people of Spain are treating tourists bad now. Let’s see where this wil end…never will go back to this place. Shame on how you treat your guest which pay your salaries! You learned not it seems from previous reviews where you reply that service is important…fix it for the next guest I...

The place reeks of filth. The tables, the cutlery, the cups even the menu are disgustingly dirty. We ordered the stake, which was 30€, the chicken bites, the mushroom wok, and the beef burger. The chicken bite tasted average at best and the beef burger was also very underwhelming. The stake came out raw and we had to ask for it to be cooked again, although instead of cooking it they brought out a hot stone for us to Cook. Our. Own. Food. Best of all the wok didn't arrive and when we asked the waiter rudely insisted that we didn't order the wok even though it was the first thing mentioned. Even better when we wanted to order it the waiter claimed that the kitchen was closed. The service overall was appalling, The waiter was rude, seemed uninterested and wasn't helpful at all. When we were done and paid he scooped up the check and left immediately without even thanking us. When I write this, this restaurant has 4.3 stars, but the reality is that this place, which I find hard to call a restaurant, doesn't deserve more than 2 stars....
