I arrived at 7.15pm on a Saturday night, just as it was opening. It has a beautiful courtyard with lovely dining rooms leading off from the courtyard. The waitress was excellent. I had a Fino sherry whilst reading the menu which had English translations. For starters I chose the smoked fish on advocado and toasted bread, which arrived on a slate??? But at €4 Excellent! Then l had ordered special pork fillet and chips.. with a glass of red wine....this also was served on a slate.... Sadly this was all I got. Eight finger thin strips of nice pork on top of a pile of chips ....no salad,....no vegetables and at €16 was robbery. Eating off slates should not be a reason to excessively charge for a meal. Between my arrival at 7.15pm and leaving at 8.45pm, on a Saturday evening 8 potential customers came into the courtyard, looked around at the five solitary customers and left without buying even a drink! There was no atmosphere, no music and no regular diners, it was like eating in a Church!!! All we could hear was the chef's shouting in the kitchen. All so sad...with a little more attention to the value of the food and the dining atmosphere this beautiful restaurant...
Read moreThe food was at best mediocre, some dishes where terrible. The octupos (pulpo) was hard like a shoe. The oxtail (19€), although good, had the portion of two bites, a soup that we ordered was good and the rest were mediocre at best. We blindly ordered an apperitivo for wine to pair with our plates and the waiter said nothing. Half of the dishes we ordered never arrived, which proved to be for the best. The prices made us expect food of some quality but we were terribly disappointed. Given the beautiful patio, this place has the potential to be a fantastic restaurant so i wish for improvements to be made. Watching the past reviews made on this platform, they seem to answer to negative reviews with a prefabricated, copy-paste answer and I am waiting for it. Just to mention it that it was Sunday and the place was close...
Read moreYesterday I experienced one of the worst meals of my life. The place is cozy, resembling a classical “patio andaluz” but the space is reduced so they pack tables in the little room they have. We had to fit 18 people in a place that could comfortably fit 12.
The waiting staff was nice, kind of fast and acted properly. The problem here comes from inside the kitchen. Food was slowly poured out from the kitchen and all the dishes we ordered were average or low in quality. Until we ordered the wok. It could be classified as the worst experience I have had in a restaurant. We ordered 4 of those and all of them were uncooked, tasteless.
I could not recommend anyone trying out this place with the food quality you can taste in most of places...
