A lovely family-owned place with authentic Syrian food, perfect place to spend a calm dinner with a loved one(s), great food options both for carnivores and vegetarians. The food is well balanced – not too salty, not too spicy, portions are just right, absolutely delicious and perfect. For two people we ordered a meat plate and a vegetarian plate, two bottles of water and paid 30€ overall, great quality for this price. We left satisfied and full. The atmosphere is great, very calm, the open kitchen is definitely a go, you can see how the chef is calmly preparing every dish. The plate composition is fabulous, every piece looks like a piece of art (delicious art). Would especially like to note their attention to cleanliness – every table is being thoroughly cleaned before the guest sits, the cutlery is shining, you can see your clear reflection in it, the glasses are shining and as clean as new. A perfect place for a great dining experience, ideal to try a new cuisine. Hope they will stay as great as they are now for years. Definitely worth visiting and coming back to Cordoba just to dine at this...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in the old part of Córdoba (with the white houses) but is far enough away from the mezquita to not get overrun by people. The interior is very simple (could be cozier, but it is fine), but the reason you come here is the food. I ordered a selection of mostly meat dishes (mixto carnivoro) and it was amazing. I especially liked the shawarma and samosa, so if you want to order seperate dishes I would recommend those ones, they are really good. The waiter was also kind and the food came pretty quickly. And the pricing is very decent as well. For €15 a person you can get a good meal. It is of course not an authentic Spanish experience, but if you don't care what type of food you eat as long as it is good, you have to give this a try. Do note that they do not serve...
Read moreThis was the most delicious and flavorful food I've tasted in Spain so far. Coming from California, I'm used to Mexican food and I thought Spanish food would be similar, but there is zero comparisons. I did not like the food here at all, until I ate at La Casa Siria. My son and I got the shawarma, he added a hummus and I got a mutabal. Everything is really good, finally after 10 days of traveling all over Spain, I finally got good food. Love Spain a lot, but the food was not to my liking, no flavor. Highly recommend this restaurant, really delicious, I'm surely going...
