Restaurante El Tecolote Antojitos Mexicanos — Restaurant in Córdoba

I was so excited to try this spot after discovering it on TikTok. I got there 10 minutes after they opened and was told the kitchen wouldn’t open for another 20 minutes so I waited. After 40 minutes the waitress took my food order. It was shortly after that I was informed by the chef that he would not be able to make any tacos or quesadillas for another 40 minutes. While I understand cooking takes time, this meant the majority of their menu would not be ready to eat until 2hrs after they originally opened. I ended up leaving and having to find lunch elsewhere but I was very frustrated. If you need more time, the chef should have arrived earlier or the restaurant should open later. My wife and myself stopped in for brunch and ordered the nachos and a chicken burrito,the nachos came out first and we discovered half of the plate was stone cold and half the plate was like warm so we asked the waitress to please reheat(return it to the microwave it came out of).When we received the nachos back it was swimming in water and inedible so let the waitress know we couldn’t eat it please take it away.The chicken burrito we received was tasteless with no seasoning at all just sautéed chicken and green peppers very disappointing.After asking for the bill it was the full amount with no adjustments with no apologies forthcoming…Will not be back we’ve been living in Spain now for 2+ years and it was by far the worst...

We visited for lunch and were greeted with a smile from the waitress. We ordered the nachos and a chicken burrito,after recieving the nachos half the dish was stone cold so informed the waitress who apologized and took it back to the kitchen. Shortly afterward she returned the dish which we discovered was swimming in water so we informed her it was not up to standard for a simple plate of nachos and was inedible she took it away.Next we received the burrito which was tasteless chicken and a few green peppers which I reluctantly ate as I was starving.
