The Golden Stack — Restaurant in Córdoba

My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant experience at the Golden Stack. We arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled closing time in google and were informed in english that the kitchen would closing in 3 minutes. We quickly ordered a pancake stack, some waffles and two iced coffees to go as we could not sit. The lady serving us had great english and was very friendly. I watched them make our food from scratch very fresh from the pancake batter to the bacon pieces all were made from start just before close. They made our food fast and it was very nice. My girlfriend said her waffle could have had a wider variety of fruit on her waffles although it still tasted delicious. I found my pancakes a slight bit dry but that was perhaps due to the stacked nature (may be due to preference as I prefer a more crepe style) however they were still very fluffy and delicious. If you want just breakfast and then move on with your day, then don't go there. We waited forever to be able to order. Then over an hour for our meal. I ordered gluten free pancakes, that looked like regular pancakes in the menu. I also saw that pancakes on the other table looked like the image, nice and fluffy. After waiting for an hour I received the saddest looking non-fluffy mini pancakes that I have ever seen. I ordered the 3-stack and it was literally 4 bites (mini burger in tapas bar was bigger than that 3-stack pancake). But the 3-stack on the other table looked like a full meal. But the cost was the same for gluten free as it was for regular (7.50€). They should update the image on the menu for that sad looking 3 stack gluten free pancakes. Waste of...

Was the taste golden? Oh yes sir it was. Even thinking about it makes my mouthwater. Besides the food, the service was great also. I even got an apologie from the waiter for being to late to help me, even though he helped me so quickly!

Lets get to the good part. I had a cup of latte, pancake with greek yoghurt and some fruits and my wife got some bagels and a chail latte. The stack of pancakes was so fluffy and the taste of the greek yoghurt paired so well with the fluffy pancakes. The fruits tasted super fresh!
