Sibuya Urban Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Córdoba

Easily the worst sushi experience I have ever had in my life. Imagine this, I was the first customer to enter the restaurant right at 8:30pm dinner service. Service was cold and unattentive, which is typical for Spain so I was hoping for the food to make up for it. The menu is pricy for what they offer, so I tried to maximize my sushi intake by just taking two maki rolls and a tuna tartare.

I waited for over half an hour for my raw fish while the family next to me, who came later, was receiving their cooked meals. But again I was hoping that this would be good so I waited. The tartare came in this oversized plate with ice, with a little bowl of holding the tartare. I have no idea who told them this was a fly presentation but they need to be fired. The tartare itself was criminally underwhelming. There was not much flavour in the mix as it was really the freshness of the tuna carrying the whole flavour.

I then waited for another 5-7 minutes for my maki, which should have never taken so long to make in the first place. When it got to my table, I literally dropped my jaw. The rolls are short, like half that the size of a normal maki roll. When I tasted it I was shocked to find that they screwed up on their one job which was the rice. The rice was under-cooked and semi-hard. There is no excuse for a sushi restaurant that has just opened for dinner service to be serving late and undercooked rice.

I felt cheated and violated of my time and money. If you have any self respect you should not even think of...

Went there yesterday for dinner, we booked for 8.30pm (first slot available). When we arrived they were still preparing the restaurant for the evening. We got a table immediately and the waitress was very friendly and helpful, unfortunately there was a terrible sewage smell coming from the toilets and we asked to change table. We did no problems. Unfortunately with the table we changed the waitress as well. We got a short pink hair girl, quite unfriendly and pushy. I still had my last sushi piece on the plate and she wanted to take it away. Ask for dessert got the plate slammed on the table. I had the constant feel of been rushed and that they wanted us out as soon as possible. There is a 90 mins time for the table and we were well on our time slot.

Vamos a cenar para nuestro aniversario, y sinceramente la experiencia a sido pésima desde que pisamos el local. Entramos nos ven y tardan como 5 minutos en atendernos porque estaban mas a la conversación de ellos criticando a unos clientes porque no se decían en que platos pedir. Perdona?. Nos atienden y nos tienen de pie como 20 minutos mas para darnos una mesa, tengo que recalcar que el local no estaba ni lleno, que había bastantes mesas vacías. Nos llevan a nuestra mesa y ni nos explican ni nos traen la carta, nada, lo cual nos tienen otro tanto esperando, intentamos llamar al camarero, el cual pasa en diversas ocasiones a nuestro lado, sin hacernos caso, además de que estábamos al lado de la entrada y salida de los camareros de la zona de cocina, con eso digo que veía camareros entrar y salir constantemente, pero caso omiso, hasta que mi pareja se levanta y se acerca a un camarero en la barra. El cual se disculpa y al rato nos trae unas cartas. Ni nos preguntan que íbamos a beber, asi que a esperar nuevamente. Al vernos aparecen a los 2 minutos para que pedíamos, le explicamos al camarero que estábamos mirando aun la carta, porque tardaron en traerlas, lo que hace que resople y nos mire con cara de asco, sinceramente yo ya estaba comenzando a agobiarme por el trato pésimo del personal. Pero quería darle una oportunidad a la comida ya que me dijeron que se comía bien. pedimos varios platos. los cuales tardaron bastante. Los takoyaki, era todo salsa y copos de atún seco, lo gracioso fue que yo tenia pensado que los takoyaki llevaban trozos de pulpo, pero estos brillaba por su ausencia. Los sushis, el arroz estaba algo pasado, e insípido. Los yakisoba estaban fríos y demasiado salado. La verdad que mi experiencia a sido pésima no mas bien otro nivel mas abajo. El trato del personal horrible, te miran con superioridad, pasan del cliente, te dejan los platos vacíos en la mesa sin recogerlos. Como si estuvieran sin ganas de trabajar. Lo único que se les veía animados era para criticar a las personas. Sinceramente intentare dar otra oportunidad en otro sibuya, pero este de Córdoba para mi va a ser negativo, y el cual no recomendare a nadie, a no ser que quieran que...
