Restaurant is beautiful. Staff are friendly. The food however is not so good. The Samosas were great-fried. The 3 sauces that they served with it were delicious. Pink sauce is spicy, green sauce is yogurt based, yellow brown sauce is probably the apple/mango chutney which is sweet. Balance of the sauces is nice for the appetizer dishes. Presentation of food is beautiful. The chicken tikka masala is okay, sauce doesnt taste fresh. The veggie kari is good but again didnt taste fresh. Weird thing is-they didnt have paneer tikka masala and when I asked for a substitute to the chicken-they brought out a chicken mixed with paneer. Never seen this before but we believed its because the food wasnt prepared fresh but yet heated up. The naan is okay. The vegetable biryani is not good. I wouldn't recommend it. Again not fresh, it tasted boring, the spices used to make it weren't even present in the dish (coriander, elachi, bay leaves, etc). We didnt get white rice with our meal which is unusual as it is served with the main entree that we ordered but since we didn't enjoy the biryani, we didnt ask for the regular white rice. The raita was weird, it left an after taste in my mouth that helped ruin the rest of the meal. The quantity is great and prices are low. They ran out of mango shake. I agree with other reviewers, the food here doesn't taste all that fresh. Again we didn't ask though, felt bad as we were the only other customers there. Staff are so sweet though but I'm sorry this isn't authentic...
Read moreWe went out for dinner at this place based on reading the few reviews…. Following name of the restaurant Indian food turned out to be disaster. I choose this after living in Europe for 7 years and want to try something different as being Vegetarian/Vegan in Spain is tough while traveling.
It’s Pakistani restaurant and not an Indian restaurant and has no Indian dishes except basic few, 90% of dishes are non-vegetarian l - beef, lamb and chicken and small portion of vegetarian but no panner dishes except saag panner and when we asked if they can make anything with panner was clear no.
We ordered veg-samosa completely blend, no flavors or Indian herbs, had pakora which was okay and had vegetable biryani again completely blend with only few pieces of potato’s and few small pieces of carrot, no flavor, no herbs and not Indian.
This place might be good for those who don’t like spicy food or herbs/masalas and those who want to try meat dishes.
The waiter is okay, no greetings or response to your greetings only node, which is okay but at least should be thankful to the customers being in hospitality business.
This is based on my experience and all may not experience the same.
I would suggest readers to read atleast 20 reviews higher/lower ratings and the reviewers name and it will be reveled it’s not Indian restaurant but just...
Read moreWhile exploring Córdoba, I decided to try this Indian restaurant based on its positive reviews and reasonable pricing. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations.
Upon entering, the interior decor felt cheap and uninspired—not a dealbreaker for me since I was there for the food. I ordered chicken tikka masala with garlic naan, and the waiter informed me it would take 20 minutes. I took that as a sign that the dish would be freshly prepared and flavorful.
When the food arrived, I was immediately skeptical. The chicken tikka masala was bright red, which was unusual compared to the vibrant orange I’ve seen at other Indian restaurants. Sadly, the taste matched its unappealing appearance—the chicken was bland, and the sauce had an odd flavor that I couldn’t quite place.
The garlic naan was another letdown. It was simply naan with minced garlic sprinkled on top, but the bigger issue was its texture—it was dry, stale, and cold. It lacked the fluffy, buttery quality I associate with good garlic naan.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I can’t recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic or satisfying Indian...
