The worst regarding this place is the behaviour of the owner. My girlfriend just wrote a review and the owner accused her that the food can’t be bad, if we ate everything + they were about to close the shop and apparently it would’ve been better to close the store if we were to give bad reviews.
I think this is not how you should to with appropriate criticism. My girlfriend didn’t want to finish her food. But I did because I’m a pig and I don’t want to waste my money if the food is expensive and well I ordered it, I’m going to eat it.
The woman and especially the guy with the dyed hair are nice though! He is really kind and funny and I hope he isn’t treated as badly as the customers.
There was a really bad smell in the restaurant that appeared from time to time. The waiter even admitted that it gave him a headache.
After the table has been cleaned it smelled badly, because the cloth used to clean it was dirty and old
Food:
the eggplant tasted very bitter (roasted vegetables) the dorade was dry and overcooked the small salad which accompanied the dorade tasted bad the sauce of the Bravas tasted artificial (like Haribos)
2 stars because the Coca Cola was nice + the fries were alright. + Pimentons and the rest of the grilled vegetables.
Atmosphere
the fridge is next to the customer tables + you’ll have a nice view on the back of the microwave. the boss was really insulted that we mentioned the bad smell (hablamos español)
Pricing:
I think 42,90 Euro is expensive for some food with a bad quality. Honestly, even 30 euros would’ve been to much.
There are nice restaurants in Calpe, more towards the beach, so...

We did the traditional tapas night and ordered some drinks and three tapas to share. The mixed salmon salad was fresh and tasty, the camembert with crackers and jams was also nice and warm. The stuffed mushrooms with prawns was nicely cooked and juicy.
The service here could have two reviews for the male waiter who was the only one on the floor early in the night with a nearly packed outdoor area was under the pump: From a customer point of view, his service manner was not that friendly, understandably, he was stressed. His knowledge of the menu seemed good, however, because he was under pressure, his patience was much lower from people who didn't speak proper Spanish when placing an order. From a business owner point of view, this is the owners fault for only having one employee on early in the night. Customer service requires both knowledge, attention and courtesy for a full experience. Compliments to this one waiter for the amount of work he was doing and how fast he was moving.
The façade of the premises also looked quite inviting even though most of the seating is on the street/walk ways, which form a great part of the night...
