Iba a poner una reseña medianamente buena hasta que me la han liado en la cuenta, bueno, realmente ha sido un engaño en toda regla. Habíamos pedido un menú infantil. Pues bien, en ese menú entra un helado de tres sabores (que no incluye fresa). De hecho ya nos remarcaron en otra ocasión que el de fresa no entraba, que tenía que ser otro. Vale, eso lo acepto. Pedimos el crepe de Nutella en su lugar, y aparte un helado de fresa como postre aparte. Pues cuál es mi sorpresa que veo que me incluyen el helado de fresa en el menú infantil (que era más barato - 2,95) y no el crepe (5,95 ó 6,95 no recuerdo bien). Qué curioso, si lo pido aposta no me entra en el menú, y si lo pido aparte me lo cuelan para que pague más por el otro postre, ahí sí vale. Me parecen muy lamentables estas prácticas y quería dejarlo por aquí a modo de castigo y para ver cuál es la respuesta del propietario. Me di cuenta después de pagar y ya no quise liársela al camarero, no quise calentarme y 3 euros no van a ningún sitio, pero como digo me parece deplorable este hecho y espero que haya sido un simple error. Por lo demás, dejo unas fotos de la comida. La pasta con albóndigas muy normalita, las pizzas bastante bien, sobre todo por la masa, y los cannoli sicilianos bien pero demasiado empalagosos.

Avoid- this is tourist Scam. One of the worst Italian food I ever ate. Pizza was like from supermarket for 18€. Pasta was overcooked with strong garlic taste. Ingredients not match with description in menu- seafood pasta was without cuttlefish and squids- just 1 prawn and few mussels/clams. I returned this pasta, but waiter tried charge for it.

Bardzo dobre włoskie jedzenie. Pyszne tradycyjne przystawki (focaccia w paskach w trzech smakach czy sałata z burratą podana z cienkim plackiem wielkości pizzy), makarony (domowe) i pizze (w stylu neapolitańskim) oraz dania główne. Możliwość samodzielnego doboru makaronu (też w wersji nadziewanej pysznymi serami) do sosu (genialny sos truflowo-grzybowy). Na zdjęciu obłędna lasagne krewetkowa. Wyjątkowa pizza na bardzo cienkim cieście. Polecam też grillowanego tuńczyka podanego w sosie. Desery na poziomie, prawdziwe włoskie smaki. Dobre domowe wino w rozsądnej cenie. Do tego szybkość obsługi + widoki. O jakości niech świadczy kolejka do wejścia (szczególnie w weekend). Byliśmy dwa razy i zapewne wrócimy, polecam!

Welcomed in a rushed and borderline rude way. Waitress wasn't remotely interested and twice she walked off while I was attempting to order as taking more than 10 seconds to decide on the "which sauce with which pasta" conundrum was too taxing for her to deal with. Strange, as there were only 4 other tables dining. When I did ask for some advice, I was told they were all excellent choices. My fork fell on the floor and she said "don't worry" and so I left it. She picked it up and put it back next to me, and that was that. I never got another one! When the food did arrive, it was delicious although the pasta bowl was cold and the food didn't stay hot for very long.

I ordered a glass of wine, and that arrived halfway through my meal.

Synopsis....the pasta was excellent, and the focaccias were also. The service was slow in some ways, yet rushed in others and also...

Pleasant place to sit...you can enjoy the view of the sea....but let's talk about the food. First dish was a roll stuffed with salmon avocado goat cheese and tomatoes...fresh and pleasant we enjoyed that...second dish was for me a a pizza quattro stagione..not bad but certainly not the best pizza I have had....I would not recommend it My wife had a escalope with mushroom sauce..meat and sauce was ok...but the side dishes looked like they have been already eaten... also it was with patatos..in god's name an Italian that gives patatos and not pasta with scalopina...high price for average quality... also in every Italian in Calpe you get after the meal s chupito: a digestive like limoncello... here you get...

Excellent pizzas and pasta, good wine and service! Much better than the lungo mare in denia which was appalling in every way! We have recently returned to the restaurant that is now called la piemontesa, we were a party of 6 and ordered different dishes. The 2 pasta dishes were not as good as we remember them, the chili and garlic prawns had no chilli or garlic and only 3 prawns were in the pasta. The other dish was lacking in filling, the fillet steak was undercooked and fatty. Sorry to say that we will not be going...
