I honestly don’t understand how this has 4.7 on google. We ordered a selection of starters and mains - the steamed mussels came out cold with bits of ice still inside them so clearly frozen, not heated properly and no one checked they were cooked before serving. Do they not know how dangerous undercooked seafood is for food poisoning? The calamari was ok but a bit chewy. The entrecôte steak came raw (requested medium) it was literally cold to pick up. Wondering if this was frozen too? The beef tenderloin was also raw (requested med/well) so had to be sent back. The peppercorn sauce was disgusting, it didn’t taste of peppercorns at all just double cream. The pork tenderloin was nice but absolutely smothered in the no peppercorn peppercorn sauce (cream) and so were the chips it came with so they were all soggy. No children’s menu so we had to get chicken from the main menu which luckily was the nicest dish to be served all evening The restaurant has no air conditioning or fans so it’s absolutely sweltering to sit inside. The toilets had no toilet roll, we used paper towels and the toilet seat was discoloured and brown with skid marks in the pan and a muddy floor. The card machine was covered in grease and dust. The overall cleanliness of the facilities makes me wonder what the hygiene is like in the kitchen, I dread to think. The BBQ which can be seen outside on the terrace wasn’t used once during our visit, and the BBQ was the...
Read moreI recently dined at Casa Diego, a local restaurant in Magaluf, and had an excellent experience. My partner and I ordered the chargrilled sea bass and steak, along with some crispy calamari. The portions were generous, and the seafood was cooked to perfection while the steak was juicy and flavorful. The calamari was crispy and not greasy at all. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lovely with a cozy and welcoming vibe. What impressed me most was the reasonable price for the quality of food and service. Overall, I highly recommend Casa Diego to anyone visiting Magaluf who wants to enjoy delicious food in a great setting without...
Read moreWhat a lovely find. If you are looking for an reallife authentic Spanish bar that welcomes people & serves cold beer & homemade food from fresh ingredients then you have found Casa Diego. Good prices but speaking to the locals & Ex-Pats that live here this is a favourite place to kick back & enjoy . Hey the band UB40 sat outside and loved the service here because it's friendly & real. It's 3 Euros for a cold pint of beer. 16 Euros for a litre jug of Sangria if you wish to share. It's placed at the far end of the main Pizza & Kebab offerings only 15 or so mins walk. Say hello if your lucky to "🌶️ Chili" the local...
