I made my booking via email exchange with the reservations team weeks in advance for 14 girls. This was all fine. The day before we had the booking I had a phone call from Jackie or Jacqueline questioning if we were a hen party and stating no hen party items are allowed. She was very rude on the phone and questioned me several times about this. I would have cancelled my booking there and then because of how rude she was if it hadn’t been such short notice and we only had the weekend in Palma Nova. Jacqueline was on the door when we arrived and was again extremely rude and very unfriendly. She made our whole group have a bag search again accusing us of being a hen party because we were a group of just women. We did not have anything hen party related with us so nothing was found in our bags or on our persons. We entered the club and were shown our beds by the pool + brought the two bottles of champagne that come with the booking. I was questioned several more times about being a hen party despite already going through a bag search etc. at the door. A couple of the staff were okay (I felt one woman tried to say something nice to me after she watched our experience at the front door, didn’t catch her name unfortunately) but generally it was extremely uncomfortable how unfriendly it was. After about half an hour, and just after we finished the champagne funnily enough, Jacqueline summoned me once again to question me then told me we all had to leave because someone in the group was wearing a white costume and too many of us were wearing blue! I was told we weren’t ‘the look they wanted’ for two frontline beds on Saturday. Apparently 14 people were to be in 14 different colours because you must not match in any way. Despite this a photographer had already been over taking photos of us and she was nice enough. I can assure you we were not a loud group, we were of mixed ages as we were there for a family event and we had not been drinking before arrival. I did see Jaqueline crack a smile for her male customers so maybe she likes those ones better. You will 100% be judged when you get there and I saw them turn others away as well that they didn’t like the look of. I had to fight to have my money refunded before leaving but of course we were charged for the champagne because they waited until after we had opened / drank these to ask that we leave. 350 euros per bottle. I asked for a managers name and was refused the details so I’ll be following this up and escalating further now that I’m home. This place done their absolute best to make us feel completely unwelcome and ruin our day. Thankfully we were staying in fantastic apartments with a great atmosphere so we were able to return there and turn the day around. We passed ocean beach club walking down the beach and it looked much better with music, people dancing and having fun. There appeared to be actual hen parties in there too if you’re looking for somewhere to accommodate that. It was full or we would have loved to go in there instead. Nikki beach was like a library, you would be scared to make a noise in there, it was quiet, and it feels like there are lots of rules in place. They are obviously trying to be some kind of elite club but the towels didn’t even come without stains. Maybe they are trying to make it a relaxed place but the staff look totally stressed and on edge so it’s not achieved. You also might be asked to leave because you don’t fit their vision. Should have maybe worn my Rolex and we might have been treated a bit better. Don’t waste your time or money. Been to Palma Nova many times over the years and I’ve never had an experience like this, so many other great...
Read moreI can 100% relate with all the other 1 star ratings here.
Fist of all the only positive thing: The Food was good, but that is to be expected in this price range and it still felt overpriced (the prices come close to some Michelin star restaurants - and of course it's not that good).
Besides that, it was a negative experience on nearly all levels. Unmotivated, unfriendly waiters who even tried to trick us into buying more expensive drinks (by lying) and afterwards refused to call us a taxi after we'd spent over 1000 Euros there because "it was none of their business". Important note: 15 % service charge were automatically included anyway, otherwise the tip would have been at zero-zero.
Later at the pool lounges they tried another rip-off. In general, the waiters there seemed to be very concerned about celebrating themselves and they're doing it in an incredibly arrogant manner.
The concepts of service, paying customers and the duties of a host in a gastronomy business get turned upside down at Nikki Beach. They expect you to spend a lot of money but offer almost nothing of value in return, be it on the material or the personal level, and the worst part is that this seems to be part of the official deal.
The visiting audience around is always a subjective matter, but to me it was obvious that Nikki Beach Mallorca seems to attract the worst of humanity: Superficial gold-diggers who drown themselves in Mascara and Botox on the one side, "rich" pimp-style guys on the other style, throwing around champagne bottles and dancing in golden Gucci swim shorts - at least it's a combination that apparently works for the protagonists.
After all, Nikki Beach is a place I would clearly recommend to people who just love the feeling of spending tons of money in a subtle-hostile, selfish, overly-confident environment. Beach clubs like this show that money doesn't necessarily imply style or class; au contraire, it's a showcase for the simple-minded who mistake strip-club-style-bragging with real exclusiveness.
Decent and educated people with money and certain standards should mark this place as off-limits...
Read moreAfter seeing the reviews we were really excited to come but it has been a massive disappointment overall. We were told the music is off due to technical difficulties, which we hoped would be fixed soon - after all, making sure that you have some functioning speakers and a cd mixer/computer is not much of a task. It seems that no one has come the whole day to look at it and we now believe the music is off on purpose, perhaps because some fine for noise or else. (We were also told we cannot play music from our phine so today the place is effectively a quiet zone.) Regardless, the menu us extremely overpriced and it takes quite a lot to make a Londoner feel like the prices are way off. We payed €59 for a ladies day package, which is supposed to include complementary drinks. So far everything we’ve ordered in terms of cocktails came without alcohol, even things we ordered off the menu (i.e. had to pay extra). The complementary drinks are from 11 to 4 but no one brings you anything without you asking and during the staff’s lunchbreak you can’t get hold of anybody. I assume if you come in a large group and pay one of the €300+ sunbeds, you’ll get a better treatment but we are definitely not coming back. Comparing this with Puro beach at Palma where we were treated extremely well and got plenty of free perks, this place sucks. Hopefully you’ll have a...
