Our family of four, with kids 9 and 5 arrived without a reservation. And we were seated relatively quickly. We ordered tapas and main dishes, and the tapas came out quickly. The tapas were good but there was very little of it. That amount became apparent when it took them over an hour to deliver steak rare and two fish dishes, while other folks who were seated after us were getting their food, and the restaurant was not at capacity when we arrived. Given that we had kids, this was clearly managerial negligence, as the restaurant seating area was not that big (it’s NOT hard to glance around and see that a table that ordered food has been waiting for a bit), and my kids were clearly hungry. It took a direct glare and questions to the wait staff before we even got some form of a response about the time it took to get our food. We only got an apology at the end of the meal. Too little, too late.
A suggestion: A simple glance, an apology for the long wait, and several check ins and maybe some other hors d’œuvre would have mitigated a very long wait.
The food was ok for the price, but the service terrible. Not worth it, go...
Read moreWe arrived and every table was labeled "reserved". Even though we managed to receive a table but were ordered to finish everything within one hour (from 7 - 8 p.m.).
Service was nice and relatively quick.
The food:
I had the mixed tapas plate (as seen in the picture) that costs around 24 €. My partner had the Caesar Salad for around 16 €.
The food was neither bad nor good. It was just kinda ordinary. I couldn't quite put my finger into it. The meatballs, the shrimps, the chicken, the calamari rings, there was really nothing special about it. Not "lame" but nothing I'd recommend to anyone. The only thing that was interesting were the mashed potatoes.
I haven't tried any other tapas (there are some more that are not on the "mixed plate").
My partner would say something similar about the Caesar Salad: neither good nor bad, just ordinary. Would not recommend it.
There are a lot of Brits eating there btw,...
Read moreEverything was perfect, the food, the environment and the service. The calamari is a must and the green peppers too. The only two things that ruined the experience were the fish bones and the vegetables. Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy getting every fish bone out while eating, it felt like a mission more than an enjoyable meal. The fish was a delight on its own though with the sauces. The vegetables weren’t cooked, at all. There’s a difference between al dente and not cooked. And I tell you that raw zucchini is really really not good… it ruined the dish everytime I tried to take a bite with the fish.
Do I recommend this restaurant? 100%.
