Bugambilia left a good impression despite it being a bit of a hassle to get a table there without a reservation. The location is excellent: the restaurant is literally right next to a charming little beach that we also had time to enjoy. They have outdoor dining only, as far as I can tell, but a couple of steps down from the terrasse and you're on the beach! There are sunbeds that you can use, and the bar takes orders that can be enjoyed on the beach as well. Food is actually quite decent. The fried sole and port wine reduced Iberico pork dishes both tasted good, but fine dining it is not. Staff was friendly but seemed stretched thin by the popularity of the place. Cocktails are good. We had an amazing dinner experience at this establishment. We lucked out getting a free table but reservations are highly recommended as they turned away most everyone after us. The waitstaff and management run a really smooth restaurant and are friendly and having a good time while at it. We started with the mussels which were amazing. I had the mixed grill and my wife had the poke bowl. Both were quite good. Add the amazing view and it was a perfect evening out. A few notes they did bring us 2 drinks when we only ordered one but we like to drink so not a big deal. Also I had ordered a bannofee and a coffee which never came but didn't get charged and we left to free up the valuable seat real estate after waiting 15...

The worst service I've received anywhere, ever. I've been to Spain on a few occasions and many different countries, but ive never been made to feel so unwelcome. The man serving us never once smiled or said thank you, I myself towards the end, gave up thanking him, as for some reason, he clearly didn't want us there. He avoided eye contact and ignored us, but was friendly and smiley with what I assume were locals. The people he was friendly with received their food before us, although they had arrived later and ordered exactly the same food.
