NYC Bagels & Burritos-Mallorca — Restaurant in Calvià

Very Poor quality and service. Not at all like NYC bagels. Poor service. Got the order wrong. Wrong bagel type. Bagel was not good. Poorly made. Salmon didn't look well. Presentation was not good. Size of the bagel was at least half the size of NYC bagels. As a person from NYC this was very disappointing. Did not accept any card payments. Didn't know how to turn the fan on outside in the blazing heat. Another person was smoking on the terrace which was illegal. Waited over 15 minutes for a bagel. When went in inside to inquire, seemed like the employee who had already gotten the bagel type wrong, didn't know what they were doing. Didn't know what went into the bagel and was reading off of a list of what to put into the bagel type. 1/5. And to top it off, was served the bagel in a bowl with tortilla chips which I have never ever seen before in my life. Definitely not NEW YORK CITY bagels. Most likely the employee thought that the burrito's that came with tortilla chips applied to bagels as well. Insane to pay over 12$ for a bagel this type. Unfortunate for all the customers who don't know what actual NYC...

Located in Portals, NYC Bagels & Burritos is a little gem with a lot of heart. The space is warm and unpretentious, perfect for a casual bite. The owner’s friendliness really shines—it feels more like eating at a friend’s place than a typical restaurant.

The food lives up to the cozy vibe. Bagels are fresh, with good flavour, and the fillings—whether classic or creative—are generous and satisfying. Burritos are tasty they don’t skimp on quality.

Heavy Burrito

Burritos were class, fillings were seriously tasty. Owners are class, even sitting outside with us for a good chat and telling us everything about the opening and future aspirations.

Few negative comments below, this place has just opened and the owners are open in saying they are constantly tweaking and adapting.
