Trattoria Pizzeria da bruno — Restaurant in Calvià

During our vacation in Mallorca, we went to Da Bruno twice. We were welcomed in a very friendly manner by Elena and her father. My wife and children were very enthousiastic about the spaghetti Amatriciana and the pizza. I, for one, ate the best veggie lasagne ever (a recipe of Elena's mom, apparently).

Will you find more posh restaurants on Mallorca with a fancy website and an expensive wine card ? Probably, yes, but I prefer to go to "Da Bruno" every time I can...

Call me old-fashioned, but in a world of globalization and multi-million dollar restaurant chains, I hope that there is still a place for people like Elena and her father, who put their heart and soul in every plate they offer, who welcome customers as if they were their own family and put a lot of passion and love in every dish. If we ever travel from Belgium to Mallorca again in the future, I hope to visit this lovely restaurant again ! Best wishes to the whole family...

Came here for our last meal before we head back home tomorrow, and I'm so glad I came across it on Google.

Small little traditional Italian on a side street that could easily be overlooked when walking past.

The food was absolutely fantastic! I had spaghetti, my mum had Lasagne and my daughter (who is extremely hard to please ) had a margarita pizza, which she completely devoured and said it was the best pizza she had ever tasted.

Service was very welcoming, and the lady took care of us throughout the meal. The man who made the pizzas was also very friendly. Very reasonably priced also.

I'm sad we only came across this place on the last night of our holiday. We Will definitely be back on our next...

Not a very good experience from the start. The waitress was not very welcoming, sullen, like it was an effort to take our order. the chef was more friendly, he offered up a smile and seemed to appreciate our custom.

I went for the pasta amatriciana which was very salty, I understand this can be the case with bacon dishes. The portion size was small and would not have been plentiful on its own.
