ONDA Mallorca — Restaurant in Calvià

We had several meals at Onda, the restaurant at Aethos Mallorca, and every one of them was outstanding.

Dinner was a highlight. A well-curated menu that felt both special and approachable. We had fish, dry-aged steak, oysters, carpaccio, tomato salad, and more. Everything was a 10 out of 10. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully paired with excellent wine.

Breakfast was just as impressive. Great selection of fresh, high-quality options, fruits, vegetables, warm dishes. And even small details stood out. The food was never basic: it wasn’t just scrambled eggs, but scrambled eggs with pickled red onions. Not just ketchup, but a house-made version with a twist. Every meal had that extra touch.

It was also great to see how much they focused on regional products from Mallorca, from the sparkling water to the wine to the food. That added something very grounded and authentic to the experience.

And the staff? Incredible. Friendly, fast, service-oriented, and somehow always one step ahead. They often brought what we were about to ask for. It felt natural, never forced, just really good hospitality.

Onda isn’t just a hotel restaurant, it’s a place we’d gladly come back to on its own. A real highlight...

The food was good and the service was attentive, but given what we ate for €171, I was genuinely shocked at the price. It was highly expensive for what we had (2 persons). I do not believe it was worth as much as what we paid, we had 1 starter to share, a main each, 1 side and 3 glasses of conservatively poured wine. I'd urge the hotel to reconsider its pricing strategy as this is not in keeping with the local surroundings. I won't return due to the cost, however wish the hotel well in...

Onda offers a thoughtfully curated dining experience.
