This establishment is an out and out Con. We were cajoled off the street by the woman who told us the act would be on at 10.30. This was at 10.00. We ordered Southern Comfort and lemonade and Jack Daniels and coke for which we were charged 15 euros. Having thought the drinks tasted quite weak we then ordered them both neat without the mixers much to batman's dismay as he kept saying "what no mixer" and as we had suspected the drinks were in fact watered down. We decided to make the drink last until the act came on meanwhile suffering Kareoke!! At 11.30 the DJ announced that the act, due to deliver at "10.30" would not be appearing but the party would be continuing until the early hours with inflated priced watered down drinks. Would not step foot in this place again, toilets absolutely disgusting. Would advise all people to avoid this...

Firstly the lady on the door advised us to be early to get a seat for motown night. We arrived at 10.30 for start of show and there were plenty of seats. The Motown act did not start until 11.10 and we had to endure karaoke for an excruciating 40 minutes we would have preferred just music but some people do like karaoke. Beware the drinks are very expensive! In addition my partner stood at bar for 15 minutes without being served and we decided to leave as it was clear known patrons and friends of the DJ were being served first in front of others. Decor and lighting much improved from previous years but not enough to lure us back. Plenty of good entertainment elsewhere with more affordable drink prices and better atmosphere. I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by this establishment’s decision to allow a known abuser of women to perform here. Supporting or giving a platform to individuals with a history of abuse sends a clear message that the safety and dignity of women are not a priority.

This kind of decision reflects poorly not only on the venue but also on the values it upholds. It’s not just about entertainment — it’s about accountability and the kind of community we want to foster. There are countless talented performers who don’t come with this kind of harmful baggage. Why choose someone who has caused real harm?
