Tandoori Station Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Calvià

We chose this place due to the reviews, where we are staying is teaming with eateries but not many appealed to us, so were heading further out to eat. We were seated with a beautiful view across the bay & service was extremely polite without being disingenuous. I concur with previous reviews that it isn't only the best indian food in Santa Ponşa its some of the best I've had full stop. We had a chicken dopiaza madras hot & a chicken saag balti as that's our favourite go to dish. We plan to go back again tomorrow as the saag has been bought up in conversations throughout the day. We opted for madras hot for the dopiaza as we appreciate a bit of spice but not to the point where you need to be sipping drinks, constantly wiping your nose & doing breathing exercises as though you're in labour. Lots of places usually miss the mark but this was spot on! The exact heat a madras should be. Both dishes were laden with big chunks of chicken and sauce that had distinct flavours characteristics and depth. The service was 5* as was the food. Visited Sunday 1st September. Ordered Lamb Madras Rice and Sag Aloo. The missus ordered Garlic Chicken Tikka. Madras was pretty strong, I normally eat Vindaloo, and I'm glad I didn't order it based on the spiciness of the Madras!!! Food was good, only real complaint is I thought it was overpriced, based on the other meals we had during our stay in Santa Ponsa. This is the reason I have marked 3 stars. My partner and I went last night, it is our last day today and we are so annoyed at ourselves that we didn’t try here sooner or we would be in it every night. We got chicken tikka masala chips and garlic Nan between us as we’re not big eaters in the heat. The food was amazing, my partner scraped every last bit of the sauce from the bowl.
