So we went here and got on a waiting list which took about 45min, and when seated we got our order of drinks in after another 20min. The food arrived after nearly an hour. But we figured they were busy and tired, so can’t complain. Then we tasted the food. Why this place is busy is beyond me. Maybe the worst food I’ve had on this side of Spain. Thin wet pieces of bread. Burnt sausage, black burnt on one side and nearly raw on the other. Ok salmorejo, but fridge cold. Crocketas was ok and plentiful for the price but filled with ”cream” or cheese and not flavorful and rich like the other ones you’re used to in Spain. Patatas bravas is not with a brava sauce at all, some sort of ketchup and prepackaged garlic sauce. But in their defense, that seems to be a thing of Madrid and south of Spain. Probably shouldn’t have ordered patatas bravas here. All in all, we were laughing and saying we should have gone elsewhere. This place is a joke. But lovely and friendly waitresses!

The challenge here is to make what is essentially flavorless food, flavorful. First, the dogfish. Tasted more like a bland whitefish than a member of the shark family. The batter didn't add any real flavor. Thankfully the lemon juice added some, but let's put it this way. If lemons became the only seasoning in the world, well, it wouldn't be pretty. I'm hoping to find a place that grills dogfish before I leave España. The Iberico ham, lomo de cerdo and fresh cheese sandwich. (I'm not familiar with "fresh" cheese, so I'll go with manchego as a guess.) Sadly, I had to hire a private investigator to locate the Iberico and the flavor. Found the first, not the second. Great service; relaxing to sit outside on a sunny day. Price/quality ratio was in line.

We have always walked by this place and it's typically crowded. Finally decided to give it a try and we were lucky to secure a table for two during early hours of dinner time. Everything from the table service to quality of food was amazing. The waiter was very well versed on the variety of menu and we loved especially how simple the tapas were but yet uniquely different in its own ways. One of the must try items would definitely be the assorted homemade Croquetta platter. To top it off, price was also very reasonable. The interior decor looks very impressive, hopefully during our next we can get a seating inside. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for somewhere with good tapas at affordable rate!
