We loved almost every dish we tried! The sushi with chocolate grated on top was so unusual but delicious, the deep fried crab came with many other deep fried items (such as daikon, prawns and some sort of leaves) which were a tasty surprise. Then we had the Solomillo and Presa Iberica bellota steaks, which were so tender and full of flavour, and we finished with the baked cheesecake that was recommended to us (my mum said it was one of the best she’d had) and the ‘death by chocolate’ which was nice enough but a little bit watery and not as rich as we thought it might be from the title. All in all we were extremely happy with our meal, the service was warm and friendly, they were happy to answer all our questions about the dishes and even the history of the building (where horses were kept and bred) - which was stunning exposed brick vaulted ceilings overlooking the pond outside. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you Restaurant A La Brasa for a wonderful and...

We went to A La Brasa as a family of 5, we had no children, but I’m sure they would have been welcome. The staff during our meal were very accommodating to us and went out of the way to members of the family that are coeliac (gluten free).

The food came all at once (which was a surprise) but the taste of every dish was amazing. You can order extravagant steaks or Japanese food (sushi) which is freshly prepared per order.

The only criticisms were that the wakame salad was too salty and the Tomahawk steak was undercooked for our liking, simply asking how to cook it would have been our preference.

The veal for 2 was amazing and came out with grills to cook it to your liking, it was a lot of fun and the meat tasted amazing.

The sushi was excellent and tasted very fresh, the seaweed was really tasty. Definitely try this.

In a nutshell: a great location for dinner, wine and the desserts are all homemade (and incredible) - try the...

My friends and I dined today and we're really ecstatic with our experience. The food was delish and the staff were really attentive with our needs. We can see that Jose and Jenela were really professional and made our experience really comfortable. They were highly commendable! In addition to that, one thing that made our experience a lil bit uncomfortable is one staff (a short girl with long black ponytailed hair) that keeps on looking at us and keeps on laughing. We just ignored her but these little things matter as it's part of the customer service. We work in a customer service and hospitality sector and we're quite disappointed on the attitude that she showed us. Except that, our experience was amazing! 🥰 Thank you so much, Jenela...

had an amazing evening! Beautiful location, very nice staff and the food was AMAZING. We were surprised that the steak tartare got prepared at our table, such a nice experience! As starters we had tuna tataki and the steak tartare and as our main course we ordered 2 sushi rolls and the steak. I asked to get the steak as red as possible and it was perfect!! Igor made sure everything was going smooth and had such a nice chat with him! Really friendly and genuinely interested, spoke a little Dutch as well which was nice of him to just try and do it, really appreciated it!

My daughter and I had a gorgeous dinner at A La Brasa. It is our first time in Cartagena and we chose the restaurant due to its Trip Advisor ranking. The location and atmosphere are extremely pleasant and the service is caring and effective. Ana and Carlos ensured we had an amazing evening. As for the food, we had the poached egg with asparagus and squid, the carbon smoked tuna uramaki and the tuna tartare. All dishes were true delicacies. Make sure to save some space for dessert. The mango and passion fruit sorbet is delicious!

Our experience was great! Service was good and fun. They served us warm bread to start.. there was this cheesy bread… it was so so good.. we started with croquetas de gamba roja com cola de carabineiro, tempura de cangrejo, burrata ahumada and tuna tartar served with mini brioche buns, wakame and truffles. For main we had Arroz Señoret to share. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The wine selection was also great. Overall a good cost benefit. We definitely recommend! Gracias La Brasa
