We went to the restaurant and the service was good. Our food took 1 hour to arrive. When my dish arrived, it arrived wrong. My husband started eating his plate so it wouldn't get cold, and I had to wait longer for my plate (I'm talking about a simple fish with asparagus and cherry tomatoes). When my dish arrived correctly, my husband had already finished eating. That is, what was supposed to have been a lunch together, was not. The description of my dish said it was "fish with asparagus and cherry tomatoes". But cherry tomatoes only came in 2 units. The food was good. The restaurant apologized and gave us a complimentary coffee and dessert.

We had a very disappointing experience at L’Avio. We went with my family and our friends’ family, and ordered a paella with lobster. Instead of serving the whole lobster as described, they brought only parts of it, clearly trying to pass it off as complete. When I pointed it out, they refused to admit their mistake. I refused to pay for a dish that was not as ordered, and the owner came over and spoke to me in a disrespectful manner in front of my family.

On top of that, the patatas were old and tasted stale, and the other paella my friend’s wife ordered was undercooked and tasted really bad. Overall, the food quality was poor and the service even worse. We will never return and do not recommend this...

Wir waren zweimal im Restaurant. Beim ersten mal aßen wir Paella Valenciana, einen Salat und als Nachspeise einen Obstsalat und eine Creme Catalana. Die Bedienungen im Restaurant waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich muss vielleicht noch sagen, dass wir im Jahr zuvor in Valencia waren und dort einige Paellas gegessen haben. Und komischerweise war die beste Paella die von einem Strassenstand. Die im, laut Internet beste Paella in Valencia in einem Lokal am Strand, war dagegen einfach versalzen. Wir trauen uns also zu Paella zu bewerten. Die Paella im L’Avio war okay. Sie war würzig, knapp an zuviel Salz, aber okay. Sie war heiß, leicht zwiebelig, ein Hauch von Wein und der Reis perfekt gegart. Später noch mehr dazu. Leider war der Salat, für über elf Eure zwar schön, aber für diesen Preis doch fast frech. Der Obstsalat dagegen WAR eine Frechheit. Teuer und sozusagen gar nicht angerichtet und die Früchte allerhöchstens Durchschnitt. Die Creme Catalana war relativ geschmacklos bis auf doch relativ viele Teile verbrannter Kruste. Das war nicht so wie das gehört - einfach lieblos. Beim zweiten Besuch aßen wir Schnecken und einen Arroz, also einen Reis mit Blumenkohl und Kabeljau. Wegen der schlechten Erfahrung vom letzten Mal hatten wir keine Nachspeise bestellt. Der Reis erwies sich als genauso zubereitet wie die Paella. Es gibt also eine Grundsauce für viele Gerichte. Kein Beweis für ein individuelles Essen. Die Kombi Blumenkohl- Kabeljau- Reis war allerdings eine sehr gute Idee. Das als wirklich eigenes Rezept mit einer eigenen Sauce wäre phänomenal. So leider nur durchschnittlich. Die Schmecken waren gut. Der Herr der uns bedient hatte war leider etwas überheblich. Im Gegensatz zu unserem vorherigen Besuch. Das Ambiente des Lokals war sehr schön und freundlich.
