Good choice! After being in Thailand our expectations are high. We had duck as a choice in our wok, which is not the easiest, it was very well cooked and tasty…rice, noddles, entries, all well elaborated. Too much veggies, which makes us think price is not so reasonable, but, it is worth it! Ah, and tried their riesling white wine, very nice discovering, not very alcoholic, not too sweet…refreshing. If u feel like, leave some space for the fried banana. Worst was the smoothie, it was great, but drinking straw was way too short and we had some laughs around it ;) sorry i didn't take any pictures.

Sawadee in Castelldefels is an absolute gem! We’re a family of four who visit the region every summer while our kids attend camp, and this has been one of our go-to spots for Thai food for a few years. From the crunchy, perfectly seasoned spring rolls to the flavorful pad thai and the fragrant pineapple rice, every dish is consistently delicious. The drinks are refreshing, the beer is served ice-cold, and the quality just keeps getting better each time we visit.

The service is fantastic, and the owners are incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. They’ve even recently opened a place next door for tapas and drinks, a casual, cool spot to enjoy a snack and one of their amazing cocktails. Sawadee is the kind of place that keeps you coming back year after year....

We called the restaurant to make a reservation and a lady abruptly replied in Spanish that they don’t speak English. We took a chance and went and the girl at the bar asked if we had reservations. We told her we tried to but were told they didn’t speak English. She rudely said something to us but we didn’t understand. Since we’d come a long way we decided to order a take out. We had to wait a long time and all throughout this lady at the bar looked annoyed and grumpy at us. We were made to feel unwelcome and will definitely not return.

Another server though was helpful with adding a chilli powder to our order. The food is tasty and their saving grace. Menu says their Tom yum has mushrooms but...
