Bar Reno — Restaurant in Ciutadella

Bar Reno is an ideal place for a good cup of coffee or drinks & snacks whilst here in ciutadella . The coffee served here is a very different blend that I had not tried before & it was of a very good standard to my taste , it's tasting notes were slightly nutty with an almost walnut flavour & a slight fruity aftertaste on the palate & it was a dark roast which is suitable for drinking with or without milk , and is the ideal pick me up for the coffee drinking enthusiast . The bar also serves an excellent café carajillo / coffee & brandy which has the perfect combination of both ingredients & may I suggest a water side to clear the palate , should you decide to eat something after your drink . The bar's classic interior is a hue of various shades of polished wood & also features various artwork features that are very tasteful & it all adds to an intimate warm , cosy atmosphere . The bar also has an alfresco drinks & dining terrace & tables available for it's customers in or out of the shade the choice is yours . The prices here are modest & table & full waiter /waitress service is included , so it really is excellent value for money for such a quality venue . Last but not least the service I received upon my visit was most polite & friendly & delivered within in a few minutes of my order & with a smile , from the waiter which made the Reno experience a pleasant one . So if you are a coffee buff, or just fancy a drink & snack in a more intimate cosy setting ,coupled with good service & all at modest cost , then the Reno bar may well be worth a visit for you . Awesome. We almost left after first impression: the waiter complaint a bit about us moving tables around -honestly, it was a bit rude of us not to ask for it in advance- but everything went well afterwards. Waiter turned to be one of the most efficient and simpathic around, managing alone a tone of tables without imparting his excellent service.

Breakfast was great as well: their "mallorquin" toast (sobrassada, cheese and honey) was amazingly good.

Ambient was in line with the usual in the area: mostly local stylish people in a quiet enviornment. Lovely.

Very recommended.

Lovely "old school" feel. Lots of dark wood, hard floors and old pub advertisements. I've visited twice and both times the staff have been friendly and happy to help with anything. Nice beer selection, snack menu and a freezer full of ice creams. I get the feeling a lot of people would walk away on first impressions, but don't do it! Wonderful little place and frequented by locals (always a good sign). Decently...
