had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. I went there with my family, me my wife my daughter of 4 years old, my son of 2 and my baby with 1. At some point early in the dinner my baby was making a bit of noise because, well, that's what babies do, but not even close to being screaming or uncomfortable to other customers . Instead of being understanding or helpful, the waitress was unbelievably rude! She came to our table asking for us "lower the volume" of our baby, this was the most rude, unpolite and disgusting intervention that I had in my life, as if a baby is a radio that we can simply lower the volume. she made us feel completely unwelcome. When we asked to talk to the manager we were surprised that she was the manager of the restaurant.
At one point, another colleague of her came to the table, saying that they could call the police if we kept making noise which was completely out of line. I can't believe how poorly we were treated just because our baby wasn't completely silent.
After this we asked for the complaint book, filled a complaint and leaved the restaurant, without eating the food that already arrived.
If you have children, avoid this place at all costs. They clearly don't know how to treat families with any level of respect, they should review their policy of accepting kids.
Your reply is full of lies, and I feel the need to set the record straight for the clarification of the future potential customers. First of all, it's completely untrue that I arrived one hour later, I arrived to the restaurant at 8:35. Yes, it's true that I started ordering food, since we were fully aware of the two hours deadline, and we were perfectly fine with that, the ones that could not be fine with that were yourselves since the service is very poor (as mentioned a lot of fines on the other reviews, and as an example of that I needed to order my beer 3 times.
Secondly, yes my smallest daughter (1 year old) was crying, not screaming and believe in me I know what it's like when a baby is screaming and was totally not the case, and of course we as a parents were doing everything to minimize the situation but again if the restaurant can't handle a situation like this simply should state in his policy that don't accept children's in their policy.
Also don't try to insult my intelligence, because it's pretty straightforward to understand what "bajar el volumen" means in Spanish, English or Portuguese, instead you should acknowledge that it was a very unhappy and rude suggestion from your staff.
Another untrue in your statement, my wife wasn't stabbing a croquete, since we haven't touched the croquetes or any of the food ordered, since WE DECIDED TO LEAVE THE RESTAURANT IN THAT EXACT MOMENT, so another lie from your side you don't kicked us out of the restaurant, in fact another waiter from your staff threatened a mother and her 3 baby kids that would call the police, because they were making noise. In addition to that my daughter of 4 started to cry and due to the situation created by your staff.. WELL DONE!
When I asked the complaint book, the staff asked me to fill the book on the street, which I which I obviously denied.
It’s unfortunate that instead of taking responsibility for the issues raised, you chose to twist the truth. I stand by my original review because my experience at your restaurant was far from the pleasant atmosphere you try to portray.
Rather than arguing with your customers and spreading misinformation, maybe it’s time to focus on improving your service review your children's policy and treating feedback with the seriousness it deserves.
As a last comment, REPLYING LIES IN CAPS, MAKES YOU LOOK STUPID, AND REFLECTS THE POOR MANAGEMENT OF THE RESTAURANT THAT MIRRORS ON THE DEPLORABLE...
Read moreWhen we arrived we did not have the best start: despite having a reservation, we've waited 10-15 minutes for being attended. It felt their service personnel was somewhat understaffed given the amount of people they had to deal with. Our table was in the patio, behind the main room and next to the kitchen. Space was a bit narrow, but it was comfy. We've ordered a bottle of wine, berenjena (egg plant) and ceviche as starters, and the pez limón (greater amberjack) and solomillo de la finca (beef tenderloin ) as mains. All were really good, but the two starters were spectacular! Maybe the best ceviche and egg plant we've eaten in our lives (we live in Madrid). As desert we ordered the tarta de queso, which was also really good. Service: we've had two different waitresses, one seemed distracted all night, got our orders wrong twice, and came across somewhat grumpy, the other was simply fantastic. All in all a great experience. What really matters, food quality, was superb, and we'll definitely come back!...
Read moreI rarely leave such extensive reviews but this was a phenomenal experience so just had to: The venue is tucked behind a back of little alleyway, I was greeted with a smile by two members of staff and was shown to a table by the kitchen window, service was genuine, friendly and knowledgeable, Croquettes were amazing and I think a bit of shaved cheese like Grana would have elevated it further, my second starter is the best dish I had in ages , finesse and details were spot on , I believe it was a cured cow tongue, delicacy rarely utilised, the capers, mustard seed and the whole dish was an art piece. Moving on to the main, sweetbreads, chickpeas and squid, that was a push and well executed, I do believe the dish could have been elevated with squid ink. Dessert could have been better and I hope it will. In general, you would really struggle to get a table if this place was in London or New York. Keep up the good work and hope to...
