The only place in the area to eat. website says no booking required. First night, it was closed... second night, I went with my 12 year old daughter, we waited until it opened at the ridiculous time of 8.30pm 😂. The very rude proprietor told us it was fully booked. This place is a hidden gem - don’t be put off by the slightly canteeny setting. The food is fresh, beautifully cooked and authentically presented and the service is what’s you’d expect from a family run affair. It’s also excellent value, including the wine. We had the most amazing boquerones and the calamari batter melted in the mouth. We’ve eaten in some great restaurants around the world and this is up there. The resturant is only open 8.30 to 10.30 Tuesday to Sunday. It may also be open for lunch, not sure. The food was excellent, lamb shoulder with onions and a mountain of fries and Monkfish with seafood & potato. Staff were friendly and helpful and the price was good. It was blazing hot in Menorca in July so they had big floor fans running, which was great. I was pleased the food was good as this is one the the very few resturants in se Caleta. I would recommend...
