Restaurant Sa Nacra — Restaurant in Ciutadella

Absolutely disgusting place my family and I were huffed at when we arrived and requested a table for 6, we were then told we could only sit inside as all the empty tables outside were booked, to which we agreed, we were shown to a small table in a corner we would have been so crammed in so I asked if it was possible to have another table added to which we were told this was not possible, the restaurant inside and out was practically empty, the staff were so rude so I said we would go elsewhere to which they said ok go then. Such a shame because the setting of this restaurant is amazing, it’s just a shame about the attitude of the staff members. I visited Sa Nacra with a group of 4 (I am a pregnant Black woman) on the 20th of July at 2pm. We were told the restaurant was full but that we could wait 30 minutes. After waiting about 20 minutes, a different waitress told us they were taking reservations only and could not seat us. Moments later, a party of 2 who arrived after us was seated without any explanation.

This felt inconsistent and deeply upsetting. Standing and waiting while pregnant was already difficult; being turned away while others were seated made us feel unwelcome and possibly discriminated against.

If seating depends on reservations, party size, or anything else, please communicate it clearly and consistently to all guests. Everyone deserves...

What a lovely little gem this restaurant is. We got it recommended by friend and did not get disappointed...the terrace and view are superb and nothing around is alike...the staff was friendly quick and attentive and the food was great...the mussless where the best we had so far in Spain (my missus is Spanish) the little fried squid is juicy and crunchy the pan con tomate nice delicious, crunchy and soft as it should be...the paella was superb and exactly what you'd expect. The pricing is adequate for what you get and overall it was a great experience. They even have a little plank from the balcony to jump in the water and a shower next to the bathroom in case you want to refresh after...
