They call themselves Chiringuito, since they are directly on the beach, but they are much more than that, a real restaurant. They serve generous meals and it is all home-made. They serve fabulous croquettes from calamarsets with tinta negra! They were delicious. We were here with a whole family of 6. The service was very friendly and helpful. The view is the beach and the water. A recommended and new addition to the eateries on Cala Santandria.

No voy a entrar en el precio, estás en Cala Santandría y los platos son generosos, por ese motivo no considero que sean excesivamente caros. Vas a pagar la hamburguesa TOP a precio de "excepcional", pero no lo es. Pero si el precio es elevado por el sitio, también pido que la calidad sea en relación al precio y aquí se queda un pelín atrás. Dicho esto, valoro la hamburguesa que pedí, lo siento, la carne estaba poco sazonada y seca, pedí al punto, pero creo que no hacieron caso, el pan no era ninguna maravilla y estaba seco. También pidieron tortilla de patata con cebolla, dicen que estaba buena y el tamaño era generoso. Otra persona pidió huevos con patatas, dice que estaba bueno. Para picar pedimos pimientos de padrón, ricos, pero un poco más de sal gorda se agradece en este plato. Por todo eso lo quito una estrella a la comida. El servicio, perfectos, hay mucho trabajo y no paran. Ambiente, bien, pero no puedes reservar, mal, muy mal. GTienes a gente de pié esperando a tu lado para que les llamen a viva voz... que cojan el teléfono y se vuelvan a la playa o donde sea y si no se presentan en 1 minuto (que la cala es pequeña) le dan la mesa a otro. Volveré, sí, seguramente, no considero grave lo que me pasó.

Nothing sensational but also not terrible for the quality of the food it should be cheaper especially the mixed fried fish which wasn’t very tender. The view is great, I didn’t find the staff to be rude at all (many reviews mention that) they were actually quite welcoming. Portions are gigantic.

Called in for lunch break during long walk. Ordered tuna salad and a portion of chips to share. Salad ok Chips arrived cold and looking very sad! Immediately advised waiter who refused to accept there was an issue and proceeded to place his full hand on top of the chips and continued to say that they weren’t cold. We persisted politely with our request for fresh chips - particularly as he had handled them! He became quite aggressive but took them away gesturing his displeasure. Tried to have a drink here about 9:45 PM on our first night in Santandria as beautiful setting right on the beach. But we’re told it was “closed” by a waiter and then a different waitress clearly asked someone else if they were ready to order. Maybe they wanted food only orders, maybe they had a busy/bad day but we went elsewhere and didn’t return. Not very friendly to us. Sorry but that’s the way it was, so we spent our money in other local bars and restaurants. Like Sa Quadra and the beach club...
