We ate here 2 times and never again! The first time the food was wrong, we got chicken stew instead of veal stew. I asked the waiter is this veal? he says yes. It was not. Veal was served with potatoes the chicken with rice. However the chicken with rice stew was ok so rather than bother a busy waiter I just ate it and didn’t question again. We returned 2 nights later to try and try the veal again. The waiter said no to us having menu of the day ( this was advertised outside, infact we watched him put the board out earlier in the day) however, we said nothing and just ordered from main menu instead. My daughter ordered fish fingers from the child’s menu. When the waiter returned he threw a Spanish menu at her aggressively telling her no fish fingers left and to order something else, however, every time she asked for the English menu again, so she actually read it and could choose, he shouted at her just eat kebab we interjected as she is only 11 and by now was close to tears and visibly upset. He finally gave her the English menu and then stood tapping the table with his pen and then fingers until she ordered. She ordered child’s meat balls and chips in a hurry as she felt very uncomfortable and unable to look at the menu properly. The restaurant had only 5 tables full and 5/6 waiters so his attempt to look busy and flustered was totally ridiculous. Our Food eventually came, our pizzas were 3cm thick with cheese and oil floating on top, my son and husband attempted to eat their (what I deemed as completely inedible) food. My daughter’s food came then without any chips. We waited 10 minutes for her chips which when they arrived were uncooked floppy greasy and raw. My husband just asked the waiter to take her food away, the waiter offered no apology just was aggressive towards her and very rude. We left our food and when I paid he was tapping the table he then snatched my credit card from my hand before I had chance to put it near the card machine. i honestly have NEVER EVER had such DISGUSTING service from this beautiful resort. My daughter does not cry she is tough and the fact this waiter reduced her to tears is shocking, The head waiter (I think he was) is embarrassing. We didn’t shout or cause a fuss because we were embarrassed for the other waiters who were polite and friendly. My husband and son are both Ill now and it has ruined the last day of our holiday. Avoid at all costs! They did remove the child’s meal from the bill (which as far as I’m concerned is the bare minimum considering she didn’t receive an edible dinner) but it isn’t about the money. AVOID...
Read moreLovely meal and fantastic staff that are all dressed like sailors, we called in for a family meal after being reccomended by another hotel guest.
The kids meals were fantastic and the spaghetti meatballs in particular were exceptionally good. Well... Someone had to check it was OK for the little one to eat ;) Eldest had the burger and it was also very good and he even stated best one yet. I had the BBQ seecial and although the chicken needed another 3 minutes on the BBQ I wasn't worried as it was all in hand and dealt with in an efficient and timely manner, the pork was very nicely done the Lamb skewer was fantastic and the creamy garlic butter in the baked potato was amazing. My partner had the lamb skewers and I managed to rescue a piece from the plate while my chicken was having its second go on the grill and they too were fantastic. Desert was also brilliant and I had a special lemon sorbet with a shot of local Gin as a sweetener for the hickup earlier on and was not disappointed.
Would definately reccomend for the money...
Read moreAmazing, we visited twice and would have gone more had the boy let us. On our first visit we went for the menu of the day, a set menu with a choice of starters, mains and puds. I ended up with a minestrone type soup to start, it was delicious, my fair lady chose a chick pea soup which I'd describe as a type of broth with LARGE chunks of stewed chicken, beef and pork, I was a little jel but fortunately they give you a pan full so I got to sample too. I got fish for main, a selection of lightly battered fry including prawns and calamari which was delicious (they all contained bones if your not into that kind of thing), I'll have to check what my fair lady had, the food was so good I forgot to get photos! Desert was lemon sorbet, our choice anyway all a bargain for around €11 PP. Boy had sausages (on a stick) and chips as per usual, they all got eaten which is a good sign.
2nd visit we had paella thoroughly enjoyed.
WE WOULD THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE...
