Rosario Menorca — Restaurant in Ciutadella

Absolutely disgusted by the treatment I have just experienced at this restaurant. Asked for steak medium well - came out rare. Politely asked if it could be cooked more - came out for a second time rare. Asked for it to be removed from the bill as I wasn’t happy to pay (hadn’t eaten it/ blood all over my fries/ rest of family had almost finished their meals by this point) Managers attitude was to argue that they had cooked it twice, then once my husband and 2 year old went to the toilet decided to ask me, my disabled mother and daughter to leave 55 minutes after we arrived as they needed the table - we hadn’t even finished our drinks! Bullying, misogynistic behaviour! The worst of it is that the other 4 meals we ordered were perfectly fine and I wouldn’t even be writing this review if it wasn’t for the managers rude behaviour! Made to feel absolutely criminal and I am disgusted at the blatant lack of customer service training. Very friendly hostess at the entrance who showed us around before we sat down and went through the menu with me explaining what dishes are vegan/could be made vegan. Beautiful restaurant with huge open seating at the back for both dining and drinks/chill out area. Very relaxing feeling with soft music playing. Bazzico al Rosario da quando è stato aperto, pochissimi anni fa (2023?). Anche i miei figli ne vanno matti. La location è molto curata, a pochissimi km da dove passo le mie estati. Tra parentesi, sorge nella stessa area di un ristorante di Los Delfines che a cavallo del cambio millennio amai molto, "Las Brasas", scomparso da un paio di decenni. Quell'area, per molto tempo deserta, è stata completamente risanata e riqualificata, anche dal punto di vista della rigogliosa vegetazione. Quindi già abbiamo una location molto accattivante, con bellissimi e grandi ficus robusta che sovrastano i tavoli. All'ingresso c'è una grande sala coperta, seguito da un ampio spazio esterno su due livelli (a quello superiore si sta un po' più comodi). Il personale, rispetto alle due prime stagioni, è molto migliorato: ora è cortese, attento, professionale, preparato. Il cibo è decisamente di eccellente qualità, e spazia da tapas molto curate (carpaccio di gamberi rossi di Minorca e Nachos, tra questi), a secondi robusti e di sostanza (eccellente il salmone Teriyaki che ho provato ieri), a voluminosi e saporiti hamburger.
