Shelby Brunch&Dinner Cala’n Blanes — Restaurant in Ciutadella

We enjoyed visiting Shelby’s twice for brunch while staying in Cala’n Blanes, and both agree it was the best quality brunch we found available locally, that isn’t a British fry up.

I had an iced matcha latte, which was lightly sweetened and very delicious.

To eat, I had a beautifully presented stack of three, fluffy pancakes, which each lay on top a layer of dulce de leche (a very tasty caramelised milk) and the dish was a perfect blend of sweet and savoury.

There was Nutella drizzled around the plate, with fresh fruit (blueberries; strawberries, bananas) elegantly placed around the pancakes, and pretty edible flowers to top it off.

Honestly such a carefully considered yet simple dish, which felt special and gorgeous little visual joy for me 🙂

My husband had smashed avocado and tomato on a great quality bread, toasted, with beetroot micro greens on top. He had it twice and is a big foodie, and would recommend if you fancy a healthier and light brunch, made with quality ingredients 👌

The first visit, I enjoyed an Argentinian chocolate with my iced matcha latte. It had the texture of a macaroon, with wafer and dulce de lèche - delicious! it was nice to try something different.

Lovely relaxed, stylish, boho decor, with inside and outside seating options. Very helpful, friendly, and welcoming staff.

10/10 🌟 We’d highly recommend Shelby’s for breakfast, brunch, coffees and pastry or drinks if you’re staying in the area. We only wish we’d had the chance to visit their venue in Ciutadella...

Had a great “Pizza Schnitzel” here. It was so big that I didn’t even think I was going to finish it. Not many vegetarian options but other half enjoyed her “Kelly” burger enough. (I suggested after the meal they could do the bean burger from the Kelly burger similar to the Milanesa).

This place needs to have a menu out front, a menu on their Google Business Profile, a menu on their Trip Advisor and a menu easily findable on their Facebook page. I nearly didn’t go here because of the lack of menus online. I cant understand how the simplest of things like this for a restaurant business...

Our family have been coming to Los Delfines for over 30 years, and we’re so pleased such a fantastic brunch and dinner bar has opened right on our doorstep.
