There were 3 tables unreserved when me, my wife and my 2 children arrived but we were told they were all booked (no signs on the tables). I speak Spanish so asked if we could stay for 10 minutes to buy a drink watch the sunset. We were told this wasn't possible because the place is only a restaurant and not a bar, despite the sign outside describing it as a restaurant - bar. The excuse reverted back to the tables being booked (no evidence to suggest it). I offered to buy drinks and risk having to leave if all 12 people across the 3 different tables arrived within 10 minutes this apparently eat not possible. I asked to reserve the following night and once again we were told this was not possible. Some context. We were smartly dressed and I'm lucky to earn enough money to be able to comfortably afford to eat there. Thanks primarily to my job I've eaten in top restaurants the world over and have never been treated like this. Reluctantly I can only think it might be down to my wife not being white. There literally was no other excuse for this appalling treatment. The manager is a Mafia boss kind of guy. Read other reviews, they all say the same.
He will make you feel horrible and you will feel like this kind of people shouldn't have these kind of customer facing jobs.
It is a pity because the location and the rest of the staff are amazing.
For example the first thing the manager did was scream to us across the terrace to tell us to relax and that they will eventually come to attend us. Then he came and started talking about how all tech is all bad because he couldn't use the ordering machine. Then he started talking about how he was a professional swimmer without anyone asking him. Then he started telling us that all athletes are drugged to perform. Next time he came he did something similar. All tables had problems with him.
He doesn't let the other employees take orders so you have to deal with him, with the "boss".
I hope I have enough examples 🤷♂️.

Read moreWe just had dinner tonight and we don’t recommend this place. First, all the cocktails except mojitos/caipirinha/spritz were « not possible to do ». The restaurant is clearly understaffed. Then we ordered a « Croquetas » starter (Para Picar) which was good, but next we’ve waited more than 1 hour before we ask a front of house to take our order for mains « to share ». The pollo was good, but way to much sauce in the « patatas confitadas ». Scallops doesn’t look fresh, and same for calamari.
We talked to the guy to the bar (with glasses) and tried to be kind (we work in hospitality so we don’t really like to do this), but he answered like he was offended. I would have like to tell this guy that this is not is fault but kitchen’s fault.
So disappointed about this place, because the view is incredible. Main problem is that you should just be a bar and not a restaurant if you are understaffed.
