The location is top, It’s very hard to beat the outdoor view overlooking the Castell de Denia. Visited this place to experience the breakfast, it came highly recommended by some locals. Honest opinion is that the breakfast was truly disappointing. We ordered “desayuno” for 6 people. This contained of a small glass with 2 sips of orange juice. The coffee (Cortado) was good, the small glasses were not all clean. Overall the cutlery needs help, the preplated plates were dirty. Perhaps from being outside on a dusty environment, however it needs attention. The breadbaskets seem generous, but we could’ve used 4 more pieces of bread. We got a basket with jams(peach and strawberry), butter and Nutella, this was a good selection. The salmon, eggs, meats and cheese was not very generous for 6 people. The quality of the meat was poor. The slices of cheese were wet. The scrambled eggs were slightly runny and the baked beans were just 2 scoops really. Overall the experience was pretty poor. There are better places to visit when your in the harbor, unfortunately this is the only place open for breakfast. If you have the chance just venture over to the city for something better.

Denia’s best kept secret - breakfast buffet at Guiseppes. €7.50 gets you a magnificent meal that starts with a hot drink followed by a platter of cold meats and cheese that is accompanied by salmon and a bread basket. Just when you think that is plenty a plate of scrambled egg, bacon, sausages and salad arrives along with fresh orange juice. By this stage we were more than full so we asked for the bill only to find we weren’t finished with a fresh cocktail rounding the meal off. All the food was fresh, well prepared and so tasty! Add the excellent service and the picturesque setting overlooking the yacht basin, castle and mountains - you could mot wish for more Fantastic leisurely breakfast - highly recommended

Visited today, 07 July 2022, difficult to find first time but got there eventually. We used the short stay car park at the Ferry Terminal. The setting gets 10/10 we sat outside looking out onto all the beautiful boats, the menu la dia on offer, was displayed on a chalkboard for a very reasonable €15.50 per person. My wife and however ordered off the menu, I ordered Tagliatelli Bolognese and my wife had Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni, the Tagliatelli was hot but on a cold plate, the Cannelloni was cold on a hot plate! The Bolognese was okay but was, in my opinion, not really authentic Italian, additionally the Parmesan cheese was added by the Chef , not the Customer! The Cannelloni was swimming in a very thin sauce! The bottled beer was very nice at €3.70 per bottle. The Staff were pleasant and helpful. As there were 2 big dogs sitting on the floor at the next table I assume the outside space was pet friendly.I visited the restrooms (only one for each gender), and the door lock on the gents did not work! The bill was €43.30. This was a reconnaissance visit with a view to a birthday dinner night in the future, however we did not make a reservation. We may revisit in the future, but as they say " You get one chance to make a first impression" and they did not! Parking bill was 45 minutes free and €|.40 per hour after that our bill was € 2.70 ,...

We had breakfast today. Terrible.Very bad service. The morning has been completely spoiled It was hot and when we asked twice to bring us the umbrella, we were told that they had none. If you are far too hot, you could move the table. It was what we have been told. Did we come to the restaurant to move the table ??? The servant brought the tea for me, but no coffee for my husband. It arrived 15 min. later. The servant brought butter, cheese, sausage and bread. Everything started melting and in 10 min. the food was spoiled. My husband asked for more bread, then he asked the second time - no reaction. He got nothing. Eggs and sausages arrived an hour later. Can you imagine what has happened to the food that what standing on the sun??? We are also sitting melting under the hot sun. If you invite people, serve them the proper way. But you showed NO...
