We ate at "a la fresca" in Els magazinos and my goodness it was stunning. The best Tenderlion I have eaten in years...melted in the mouth like butter on a hot plate. Perfectly cooked and hand cut fries. For starters the zucchini carapccio was amazing as well as the coca dish we tried and the hand cut beef tartaar. For main courses we tried some amazingly cooked bone marrow, we had a tagliatelle made out of squid with bacon and cheese and a ravioli. The desserts were amazing as well, the mille feuille with chocolate, the Ferrero rocher cake and the cappuccino with dulce the leche, chocolate and banana was just yummy and the portions were huge. Everything we ate was just absolutely stunning!!! One small bad point for the place was the cheesecake...as everything was stunning this wasn't that great and didn't seem to fit with the other 13 amazing dishes we tried. But still a huge 5 stars and 10 stars for this kitchen and front of the house staff are definitely in place! Will be my go to from now one whenever I'm...
Read moreIam not sure what menu the previous reviews are based on but last night we were at Magazinos pizza restaurant, the first restaurant when you walk in. The biggest one there. Party of 9. I will start of with the food, or lack of it…THE SMALLEST PORTIONS and one of the worst tasting foods I think in DENIA. This review honestly DOES NOT DESERVE one star. It should be negative one. The calamari, the bravas, the crispy chicken even their pizza disgusting disgrace. Cooked from frozen, very very little portions and very flavourless UNSATISFYING. I wish I had pictures but I have never seen stuffed potato bravas. The calamari from frozen bags looked like they were leftovers from others served on a little kids plate. The chicken bitters the size of olives deep fried in DARK cooking oil. Final the price. For what you get and the satisfaction of no taste or flavour RIDICULOUS. Never never never eat here. Have drinks MAYBE,...
Read moreFirst time here and in the lead up to Christmas. Night time visit after we had a peep inside earlier in the day. They replaced them with some very nice thick cut crisps/chips which were very nice.
A couple at the side of us were sharing an interesting kofta type tapas dish, so we ordered one ourselves.
Very friendly service throughout and it finished off our evening out in a great way.
Highly recommended for an hour or so, probably longer if part of a...
