DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! LOCALS HATE THIS BAR.

I've been coming to Mallorca for 15 years now. It's a fair moment for me to be honest about this place. The truth is that I'm quite angry at the people of this bar. Some of the staff at La Roquera have truly horrible music taste. It's the same story each summer and it's a shame that a beautiful place like Portocolom has bad people like them. Starting at 10 in the morning the waiters at this place start playing pretty bad sounding high volume music which doesn't end till 12 in the afternoon. I tried many times to talk to them about this problem. They just don't care. Please do not support this bar, it truly makes life for locals nearby different and displeasing. Portocolom is all about relaxing near the sea. Staff at La Roqueta believe that having a party, at work, each and every single day of the week is okay. IT...

Nice location, friendly staff and decent food. We had the tapas for one, octopus carpaccio and also kids spaghetti bolognese. The tapas place had a selection of calamari, few croquettes, grilled peppers, dates wrapped in bacon, spanish omelette, fried anchovies and a bit of salad. The octopus was simply sliced with oil, little vinegar and sea salt. The kids menu including a drink and ice cream was €8.95 and the tapas for one under €15 and octopus dish was €16.5. Location is on the marina bay side and plenty of outdoor seating. Staff spoke great English and were very helpful. They also have a decent selection of ice creams, and drinks. We drove the 20 minutes to Portocolom from Cala D’Or for dinner. We didn’t have a plan of where we were going but we came across La Roqueta as it was right on the sea with great views. There were lots of locals there too!

We had the grilled artichokes, Mallorcan bread with mixed Iberian meats, patatas bravas and the mixed croquettes. Everything was delicious and this was some of the most delicious tapas we had on our trip to Mallorca.

Service was very quick and friendly. The menu came in multiple languages including English.

Horrible service, the waiter was so rude, slammed down menus and was rolling his eyes. Also pretending he couldn’t hear us. He brought out the wrong dish, didn’t even offer to fix his mistake, he took away the plate and one of us was left hungry. The entrecôte was awful, they cooked it blue rare instead of medium rare. Don’t bother wasting your time and money here.
