Such an awful experience. We booked a table at this restaurant telling them there was a vegan person between us and they said it was not an issue, mentioning they could adjust easily. We arrived and despite of having booked a table, we had to wait for 30 mins to get the table ready. On top of that, the vegan option was a soup, a simple salad and fried antichokes. Manager came to our table making jokes to the vegan person considering this was some sort of a disease, very rude and inappropriate. Definitely a place I will not recommend to anyone. There are better options around in the area with better prices and options. Michelin star restaurant with regular fries in the menu? Manager justified there were not frozen.. Meat options were not impressive, not many options and bland, one of the group could not even eat the main dish. Location was good, food was disappointing.

Very pleased with my prawn curry. Nice flavours, juicy and well cooked prawns, vegetables with a bit of texture, sweet pineapple. Very good. For some reason all other restaurants I've been to on this trip just can't prepare prawns properly. Is this a Spanish thing? Prawns not properly deveined, overcooked, or cooked in way too much oil/butter. But this restaurant has done it just right! Good service. Good wine. Nice outdoor seating.

Terrible! Don’t go! Avoid this place at all costs! I brought my girlfriend here because this place was highly recommended/advertised on trip advisor as well as several other sights as being a fine dining experience with vegan options. She’s vegan and I like fish. When we sat down to look at the menu the waiter brought us a pitcher of water before we had a chance to order or look over the menu. After talking to the waiter and realizing there was no vegan options other then a salad which the waiter would not tell us the ingredients- we decided to politely leave. No big deal. It happens sometimes when traveling that a restaurant doesn’t have vegan food when it says that it does. The waiter was rude the whole experience, but we didn’t make an issue of that. Much like other reviews you read here. When we got up to leave the waiter wanted to charge us for the water. The water did not come in a glass bottle where we saw him take off the top- instead it came in a glass pitcher that seemed to be filled from the tap. We told the waiter we wouldn’t pay because a) we aren’t eating here b) we didn’t order the water, or drink any of it c) it did not come from an opened bottle of mineral water. On our way out the owner met us at the door, coming out of the kitchen. He asked why we weren’t paying and before giving him all the reasons above he yelled and cussed out my girlfriend in Spanish and said “I don’t serve poor people” in English very clearly. It was extreme. Even if we had done something wrong- cussing and yelling at a customer is no way for an owner to be behaving in a classy restaurant. We walked away down the steps as he was yelling at us to pay the water. He followed us out as I was telling potential customers outside what had happened and to not eat there and he kept yelling and cussing and spitting. He got up into our face. Repeating he “doesn’t like poor people”. We were dressed nice and aren’t poor- but that’s besides the point completely. What if we were! What if this was a special occasion we had saved For a long time to be able to go? Absolutely disgusting! and all the restaurants in the area should really do something because it is giving dining in this town a bad name. Read the other bad reviews. This isn’t a one time experience. They are obviously trying to cheat people of their money and the more you look into it- the positive reviews here look suspiciously fake. I’ve traveled all over the world and eaten at cheap places and fine dining way more expensive then this place and have never run into something as bad as this. In America a restaurant like this would be shut down in no time. Save yourself this experience and eat anywhere else....

DO NOT EAT HERE. On trip advisor the restaurant advertises vegetarian and vegan options. When we arrived to the restaurant, we were seated outside and asked immediately what we wanted to drink. We asked for water. After bringing us a plain vase of water from the tap (not a freshly opened bottle with a lid) We were then given the menus. We then saw there weren’t vegetarian/vegan options on the menu and asked the waiter who confirmed they didn’t “have many options”. We politely told him that since we are vegetarian- we needed to find a restaurant with vegetarian options and stood up to leave. He told us in a very rude way that we needed to pay for the water, which we hadn’t drunk at all and was clearly from the tap. This was absurd as he was extremely impolite and he hadn’t served us an actual bottle of water. This entire interaction lasted under 2 minutes. We couldn’t believe the way we were being talked to and tried to leave the restaurant but the owner blocked us leaving and screamed in our faces “F* You” and other profane insults. We were shocked. We did nothing to deserve this treatment. He then screamed at us to “get out” (which we were trying to do) and followed us down the stairs screaming “I don’t like poor people”. Absolute disgusting and shocking customer service. And from other poor reviews above- I see that they are in the habit of charging for items not ordered or delivered and speaking to customers with...

Overrated upscale restaurant We went to Sa Llotja, because we heard that it is really great. It took maybe 15min till we got the menu card and another 25 till the waiter came and asked what we want to eat. We sat inside, which was looking good and had an A/C on, but the waiters were running around like crazy all the time and the isle between the tables was very narrow so I did not feel so comfortable. The food was OK, but certainly not worth the prices. I had prawns with rice and a curry sauce and my wife sea devil in beans, which we do not recommend, as there is a whole lot of beans and almost no fish and the dish did definitely not have a look of a posh restaurant. The waiting was almost unbearable and we have seen more people leaving, even one table which had a reservation made left because of that. We waited forever for the bill… I have no idea what so many people do in that restaurant, because they seemed to be sooo busy, but sooo inefficient. I have seen bigger restaurants with half the staff, which did their job better....
