I booked a table weeks in advance as I know how hard it can be to get in here, turned up no reservation that's was OK as they was reluctantly going to accommodate us as I had the phone call log of when I rang and who I booked with. We ordered drinks and went to order food apparently everything was out of stock so after trying 4 different things and being told "no don't have it"we decided it wasn't for us. I found it quite disheartening as we come here every year which is why I booked in advance. I felt the waitress just wanted us out, as we were a party of 6 with 2 children this was a bit of an annoyance. Tisch telefonisch vorher avisiert (deutsch,englisch,spanisch seitens Restaurant ohne Probleme). Ein Tisch zu zweit gar kein Problem, sehr freundlich am Telefon. Der Hauswein ein Cuvèe (Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling und Chardonay) der auch empfohlen wird ist sowohl gut gekühlt als auch durchaus empfehlenswert. Beim Essen hatten wir ein paar unschöne Gerichte. Die Aioli ist so wie wie sie sein soll sehr lecker. Die Gambas al Ajillo waren leider nur lauwarm und in einem Fondähnlichen Sud sehr geschmacksneutral, kannte ich so noch nicht war auch nicht schmackhaft. Der gegrillte Pulpo war leider nicht sehr gut, lauwarm und fettig-tranig ( siehe Bilder). Spagetti mit Gambas recht wenig bis gar nicht gewürzt, Pfeffer und Salz werden auf Nachfrage jedoch gereicht. Nachspeise (Käsekuchen und Creme Catalan) war so lala. Zuckerkruste sollte frisch karamellisiert sein das geschah aber wohl weit vorher da sie eiskalt war und nicht mehr "krachig". Der Käsekuchen war für 9.00 Euro schon nicht mehr so lecker und hausgemacht. Insgesamt gute Lage am Hafen, freundlicher Service, das Essen für die Qualität leider viel viel zu teuer und mit sehr viel Potential nach oben. Weder die Tellerreste noch die Nachfragen zeigten wirkliches Interesse oder Mühe am Gast. Die Portionsgrössen sind für gute Esser eher zu klein. Terrible service. We ordered paella with seafood. But we got only a half, the waiter forgot to bring the second part, and when we finished offered to take it away. Paying the full price but getting only a half doesn’t sound well. Besides, they didn’t bring us special cutlery for crabs so we just wasted our time trying to get tiny pieces of meat from them with a knife and a fork. Overall, absolutely disappointing.
