PIZZA ALERT!!! I don't typically do restaurant reviews, but I thought this experience warranted the effort. When traveling I typically enjoy tasting local foods but sometimes I find myself hungry for a fully rounded meal and am not up for experimenting. Pizza is my go to meal and I am at home with the typical Italian pizza types: Regina, Quattro Stagioni and my all time favourite: the Capricciosa.
I don't know how to fully describe this, but to say, this is the best Capricciosa I have yet eaten.
I have traveled to many cities in the world and tried pizza in numerous restaurants in the various cities. I have come to appreciate the well made pizza from a wood burning oven (gas works too) with the typical features: a slightly burnt crust, powdery bottom, juicy centre. Then the ingredients have to be right: the mozzarella cheese – not too much and not too little and of course fresh ingredients: mushrooms, olives, artichokes, tomatoes and prosciutto.
I am typically satisfied when it is done properly and slightly annoyed when it's not.
Well to my surprise this restaurant did it better than just 'properly'. The pizza arrived with a fresh Artichoke bushel. Not typical, looked nice but the taste was really good. I noticed they lay out of the ingredients wasn't a typical sprinkle across the pizza but rather a medley of partial blends that really tasted great. The ingredients had a special kind of freshness to them.
What a surprising discovery in a small town in the corner of Spain. The rest of their menu was not lost on me. I came back the next day for their 20 Euro lunch special – and yes they made that a delight too. My wife also enjoyed her meals and she is...

While we wait my friend ate a bit from his pizza what we buy 10 minutes before from same place, and then the waiter come and told us if it is take away we cannot eat it in the restaurant so I asked if there is price difference and he say no so of course I got angry as a customer that wait for another pizza and I get this bad vibe and arrogant attitude let's make it short lern how to speak to costumer and dont lie!!! I had an incredibly disappointing experience at 50 Volte in Figueres. The menu is highly misleading, and you end up with an unexpectedly expensive bill. The paella was advertised at £22 for two, but when the bill arrived, it had doubled to £44 without any clear explanation.
To make matters worse, the quality of the food was poor. The fish in the paella was small and burnt, making an already bad situation worse. This place leaves you with a bitter taste, not just from the overpriced and poorly cooked food, but from the realization that you've been ripped off. It feels like they're padding their wages at the expense of honest customers. Overall, a truly awful dining experience — I would strongly advise avoiding...
