Café Bar La Frontera — Restaurant in Fisterra

Very friendly service!:) We ordered from the vegan menu (about 5 options there). We got the Nepalese lentil soup and vegetable Indian curry. The curry comes with basmati rice and it was very tasty, made with coconut milk and curry spice (not the most sophisticated curry spice but still better than others I’ve tried) and lots of veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, red bell pepper and zucchini. It says it comes with vegan mint yogourt which I was excited about, but they said it actually wasn’t vegan. So that’s the only disappointing thing. I wish they had vegan yogourt, which is available in almost all supermarkets in Spain nowadays! The soup was super delicious, with yummy spices like coriander seed, and it also had a few vegetable pieces like carrot and zucchini. All in all, I found the place to be cozy, the service not too slow, the people very friendly, the prices a tiny bit too high but not...

The food and juice were great, unfortunately they were incompetent and literally scammed us. Would not recommend since I believe the level of customer service is unacceptably low! So my girlfriend went to pay and everything was fine, afterwards we went across the street to get our bus tickets, she went back in since they also had a clothing shop. When she tried to pay for her T-shirt they claimed she had yet to pay for the food and accused us of wanting to run away and not pay(despite the fact that the food was already paid). What I assume to be the boss was yelling at one of her employees for taking care of the payment of the food, without her knowledge. The angry women demanded that an ekstra 3 euros was paid since she believed one of the sandwich was not paid. Then we checked with our bank, and the original payment correlated with everything we ordered.

No se cómo fue la experiencia de los demás, pero la nuestra fue pésima. Nos sentamos para desayunar y después de un rato de espera se presenta el camarero para tomarnos la “comanda”, y lo pongo entre comillas porque al preguntarle que tendrían para el desayuno, nos respondió que dentro del bar estaba escrito en las tablas todo lo que tenían disponible. Y….. se fue. A dos minutos, se sienta una pareja y para mi sorpresa, los mismos preguntaron lo del desayuno, y el camarero, se explaya en explicar toda la carta y las opciones que ofrecían. Mi conclusión…… FATAL obviamente. A nosotros nos hizo levantarnos de la mesa, entrar en el bar, mirar las tablas, y pedir nosotros mismos en barra, mientras que a la pareja que se había sentado después de nosotros, ya les había servido el desayuno completo, mientras que, nosotros seguíamos esperando. Cabe destacar que nosotros estábamos con el niño, que entiendo, no es una excusa, pero…… dejarnos totalmente plantados o mejor dicho, sentirnos despreciados de esa manera determinó que dejará este comentario para que sirva de aprendizaje. No se puede tratar de esta forma a un cliente y tampoco puedes pretender cobrar el mismo precio para el cuarto de servicio que nos ofrecieron . Solo nos trajo un café, que por cierto, era diminuto y por lo demás, nos apañamos nosotros solos, una barra de pan como tostada y unos sandwiches con el pan súper quemado, pero claro, la factura final, fue acorde a un desayuno en terraza con vistas al océano pero con pésimo, pero que pésimo servicio.
