Batidor Pasteleria — Restaurant in Fisterra

I found two live maggots wriggling in my orange juice at this restaurant. They were clearly visible(check the video), yet the owner insisted twice that they were orange seeds, not maggots, until I showed him with my finger.

The owner kept apologizing and tried to explain that he cleans the juicing machine daily, claiming everything is very clean and no other customers have ever complained about the oranges. Well, I must be the first to have the luck of finding maggots in my drink!

The owner repeatedly assured me this was an exception and that their place is very clean. However, it’s clear that the oranges were also expired. I had planned to try the ice cream and cakes, but after this, I lost my appetite. I finished the chicken, hoping it was at least clean. There was no point in arguing; the owner offered to replace my orange juice, but I had no desire to see if the next one was also spoiled.

This new pastry is located in the centre of Finisterre near the bus station. The food is so delicious and the Cake are really tasty. This is a family business and the owners make you feel really like home. There are lots of vegan options including dessert and cappuccino. Actually the coffee is the best.
